I've seen a couple of times when reloading the Intervention (don't know if the magazine was empty or not), and that the bullets were added, before the character actually puts in the magazine. I assume it's a glitch, but has anyone else seen this? I saw it on the PS3, but I don't know about the Xbox or PC versions.
Not that I mind having a way too fast reload on the Intervention, but I just thought I'd share it with you.

This is probably because of a mismatched ReloadAddTime, a value which dictates after how much time the weapon is actually reloaded. It doesn't match the ReloadTime very well, which dictates how long the reload animation takes. A lot of weapons have this badly matched ReloadAddTime value compared to when in the animation the weapon would technically be reloaded.

Or, said in simpler terms, the animation you're seeing is the Intervention's empty reload animation, after all 5 shots have been depleted in its magazine. This animation is different from the regular reload animation, as the character has to pull a bolt or a lock to make way for the new magazine, which otherwise would have been help open by one bullet if that last bullet hadn't been shot out. The in game animation does not match the actual time to reload very well, so as soon as you seen the ammo counter go up, you can cancel it by sprinting/switching weapons to cancel the rest of the long animation to save time and being firing sooner.

What chyros said. But, if only sometimes this is happening, it has to do with lag/IW's crappy anti-lag system.

Wow. You would expect that they pay attention to small, but still crucial things.

Actually I think it only sometimes happening is explained by it being the empty reload. I would rarely fire an entire mag with the Intervention due to it's fast reload.
Lag and anti-lag shouldn't affect the reload because that's handled client side. Even when you shoot it's basically handled on your end, but the hit or miss has to get to the host before it counts, thus the actual death of an enemy is lagged. Latency is too high and it would incur unnecessary bandwidth usage for your client to have to communicate with the host simply to reload your weapon, though some sort of anti cheat communication might be stuck in there to verify game rules are being enforced locally and not disabled. Considering the infinite ammo hack that was around recently I doubt it, though.
