Well the defender gets an ads advantage and can use a stronger gun, but pure gunfight advantage is only measurable in tdm. In obj gametypes theres obviously more benefits to being a mobile class. I'll give you that, but even in TDM a good flank can take out entrenched enemies, especially in these maps that break a traditional 3 lane traffic pattern. Each has their pros and cons but generally tactical loitering is only as effective as people blindly rushing into the campsite. As far as I understand it the game has always given the advantage to the mover and the disadvantage to the moved upon, at least in terms of connectivity. Does Ghosts have the built-in 100ms delay or whatever it is? I mean that's an advantage to movement. Always found it hilarious how predictable rushers can be in COD. In BO2 on Raid everyone ran to the middle like some duel from the Western films so I always swapped to the knife and run ahead and then fired away with my LMG. I got a UAV in like 20 seconds.

Yes, there's a delay in Ghosts, but it's significantly smaller than the delay in BO2 and closer to the diminutive MW2-era delays. Corner-camping in Ghosts is also easier than in BO2 because guns typically take longer to ADS and Ready Up isn't Dexterity-level good... which is why cornering, pre-aiming and prefiring are all important techniques to employ in gh0sts.

Doge > IED in annoyance Its super low killstreak and almost unavoidable in CQB and take lots of bullets to kill unlike IEDs Dog has no counter besides ballistic vests like i was fine with k9 unit cuz it was high killstreak but it take 5 kills to get this thing(4 with hardline) also ive been seeing lot less IEDs and more dogs This is the other main complaint I have with the game; dogs are STUPID low on the killstreak ladder, and the only reason I can fathom as to why its spot wasn't switched with the Trinity Rocket is because of the gosh darn golly gee whiz microtransaction Wolf that requires frequent Dog usage to be worth the money. If it has to be in the game, I'd be much happier with it at between 7-9 points, but it's way too good (and frequently and infuriatingly undetectible due to its small size and near quiet approach) to be sitting at 5. I don't have numbers to back up my thought here, but i would venture a guess the dog killstreak averages 1.75 or so kills per use, while the trinity rocket is less than 1.0. I get shut out on a lot of trinity rockets. The initial screen scan doesn't see all the map, and once moving, the scan shows people under roofs as well as in the open. A lot of the Trinity rockets end up being a dud. The dog? The dog will last beyond my death. I have had some TDM games where one dog of mine lasted the entire game, getting me like 6 or 7 kills.

I think being either a "rusher" or a "camper" is dum as a mouse. In CoD you needed to do both to be an adaptive player and an adaptive player is a smart player. So true. Personally, I think it was a mistake to have equipment be refillable in BO2. I'll take the one or two max IEDs per life over Crisis of Infinite Claymores any day even if IEDs are occasionally annoying, and I do say occasionally—SitRep is nowhere near as close to a "perk tax" as DS, Amp, and even Focus are, not to mention all but the most deviously placed IEDs can be avoided if you react fast enough. (I'm in favor of getting rid of all set-and-forget bullshi t myself, but that's another tale for another time.) And seriously, if IEDs were ever the greatest of our concerns, we'd have arrived. Ghosts could use a perk that allows you to scavenge tacticals, that would probably be a good 2 point perk. Not lethals, just tacticals.

I'd be down with that for sure although I feel like the tacs in Ghosts could do with an overhaul, nothing major but just a few tweaks to make some stuff more attractive and usable. Like I'm not saying bring back EMP nades from BO2 in all their score-whoring glorly, but the only tactical I think "yeah, that'd be nice to have" is a stun nade (and I can usually find a better use for that last point) unless I'm using Thermobarics to kill people in Touch Football or something. Giving up a tac or a lethal should in my book feel at least a teensy bit like a sacrifice.

Exactly. Right now, I'm really not willing to forgo a perk for a tactical. However, if I could resupply, that would change completely. Being able to continuously use tacticals is very powerful when used correctly. I found Scavenger to be a really powerful perk in games where it refilled tacticals.

Yep. Tac mask is about as good as eavesdrop right now.
