On the Xbox 360 I've discovered an exploit that allows players in Search & Destroy to talk with eachother while dead! I've only tried chatting with one friend while using my newly discovered exploit, but if you press the Xbox 360's guild button (on the controller) and navigate to the "Settings" tab and select "Profile," then scroll down to "Privacy Settings," select "Voice and Text" and set it to "Friends Only" you'll both be able to talk while dead; only one player needs to make this adjustment for it to work between them both!
Settings -> Profile -> Privacy Settings -> Voice and Text -> Friends Only
Infinity Ward and Microsoft might have attempted to prevent dead allies from communicating with living ones, but my exploit will allow you to circumvent their noble endeavor, muhahahaha!
