I just thought I'd pop in a note on bullet decals, because I noticed they are a bit different than they were back in W@W.
In short you will only see bullet decals when a bullet hits or exits the face of a wall that is facing your direction and is not too far behind you out of view.
This is most noticeable when you shoot through walls then walk around to see no exit decals on the opposite side of the wall. This does not mean your bullets didn't penetrate, it merely means they didn't get drawn. Were there an enemy on the other side they would see the exit decals, but would not see the decals on the front where you shot the wall from.
In fact this effect is even apparent in split screen which each player having decals drawn or not drawn independent of each other.
Overall it's not that big a deal, but I personally find it disconcerting to not see my own exit decals when I shoot through something.
It also means if you get shot at from behind cover you will only see the decals on your side. If you go around to the other side you may not be able to find the exact spot where they were shooting you from, nor will you be able to see where your shots through the wall or cover actually came out at.
Similarly shots that land behind you won't draw decals for you to see when you turn around...
Not a lot of practical differences in game, but it has been rather annoying when trying to check on penetration since you can no longer look for the exit decals yourself without using split screen, because there aren't any. In W@W I would often look for the exit bullet hole decals to test what I could shoot through when I was curious. Now if you want to check you have to be able to see the hit or decal on whatever is behind the object you're trying to shoot through.
