I have 2 questions about the Focus perk. When I am using it with my Shield up, will it cause the shield to flinch less violently when my shield is shot, thereby protecting me more? Also, I heard when the shield is on your back, you flinch more because the shield is on your back. Does having Focus, while having the Shield on your back cause you to Flinch less when there are near misses around your neck and head that hit the shield on your back?
"Focus: This perk reduces weapon sway when aiming down the sight and also makes you flinch less when shot by the enemy. The flinch protection is useful with almost any weapon; if your view stays on target but your opponent's jerks wildly when you shoot him, you are more likely to come out standing."

As far as I know, flinch only affects you when you're actually shot.
