It kind of does grow on trees, now. Do your 3 daily assignments, the weekly, and run the legendary/heroics once a week, along with deconstructing, you will clear about 800 a week.

Those are tops by far. I keep D3 and Lone Star handy for funzies, the rest are pretty situational at best.

Yeah, get in get out,most people just manhunt now. Get enough caches and extract, most of the time you won't get messed with.

Nomad with conceal pulse is my go to.
Pred is tough on humans, much less so on NPCs.
If I do another DZ build I'm stacking bleed resist due to Pred.

But does Nomads and strikers, doe?

Instead of bleed, I've heard a lot of people stacking exotic damage mods so that the House doesn't hurt as much

Nomad and Striker damage work the same as any, their benefit is the huge health poil and regen. You know when you're facing a Pred, that bleed effect is over the top.
Tbose guys stack big Stamina,too.

There are a lot of ways to build in DZ, I go with melting NPCs and high survivability.

I honestly have no idea about anything PVP-wise regarding The division... afaik:

- It's that big red area and it has it's own vendors and currencies
- Predator's Mark is the Hand of God, followed by Nomad or Striker but Banshee, the dedicated PVP classy set, is the Turd of God
- You kill people or get killed
- You get to pilfer whatever is in their bag or get your bag pilfered
- I just learned that there are NPC's in there
- Apparently there are hunters in there too
- to get to keep stuff, you gotta escape with it or call in a chopper or something else... i dunno... those are extractions?

Now you can do fake extractions? Like, put an empty bag on the chopper and wait for the scrubs to come to you?

There are landmarks to clear,contamination events in the subways,supply drops to claim,these are pve, some gear and loot is yours without extracting.

Correct. And if you know where all the likely big NPCs spawn you could maybe get them distracted and use them to block off a rogue following you.

Drank too much coffee on friday night, went into the DZ with my predator/double house setup because I couldn't sleep.

Spent 20 minutes, killed the same yellow name twice, cleared a landmark, extracted 2? 3? 4? things that were total $hit that I broke down as soon as I left, never saw another player and only dealt with NPC's... got to level 12 with minimal effort.

Oh, and I played healer/saviour/Jesus to a bunch of dumb Lazerus' for a bunch of legendaries.

Firecrest Classy build... what should I do? I see some builds with a 4/4/7 build... then I see some 3/3/10.

Which should I do? Right now, I'm stuck in the middle with a 3/2/9 so I can get talented.

You need to have at least 8K electronics to take full advantage of burn duration.
After that, its up to you, I consider Talented a must, so I run 4/3/9. Gear mods are all max, so it breaks out to 4.0/2.9/9.2 specifically,with SP at 306K.
I run turret health and damage for performance mods. MDR with Tal/Determined, LWM4 with the same plus Ferocious in the free slot since that procs on the turret.

I sometimes swap gloves and go 5/3/8 with a Big Al to really get shit burning.

With Update 1.8.2 we will also get long-awaited balancing changes, that should address the issues that have been brought up by the community:



Predator’s Mark

Predator’s Mark has become one of the more powerful sets in PVP, because it combines high damage output with high stamina. But with the new changes, the bleed can now be canceled out by an Immunization Station.



Set Bonus (6 pieces):

Hitting 10 shots without switching targets now applies The Predator’s Mark which makes the target bleed for 50% of the damage already done by those bullets. The Damage over time to the target is increased by 15% for every 3000 Stamina and can critically hit the target. When at 9000 Stamina the damage over time bonus is increased by an additional 120%. The Predator's Mark ignores the Status Effect Immunity of NPCs.



Path of the Nomad

Since it was introduced the Nomad was designed to be the ultimate solo set. With the new changes – this will also be the case in the classified version, because the 6-piece-bonus now only works when you are solo.



Set Bonus (6 pieces):

50% chance to have no cool-down for Path of the Nomad when playing solo. Take 60% less damage for 10 seconds after Path of the Nomad is triggered.

Unfortunate to see PvE take yet another knock because of PvP balancing issues, this time with the Nomad set. The amount of people who think nomad means lone wolfing is quite disturbing. Thought about grinding a Nomad set for running legendaries and Clear Sky but decided to keep a set strictly for the Dark Zone. Looks like I've saved myself considerable time and effort into making a second set.

The set will still be viable, because of the enormous health regen. Assuming you're running Predatory on your weapons, you should rarely if ever need to proc the 6pc. bonus in a group doing PvE.

New Legendary missions are General Assembly and Madison Field Hospital
Everyone gets "Reactivation Cache" - 3 full 256 4 piece non classy sets and weapons, 3 cypher keys, 500 divtech, and birdcoins for new and returning players to get everyone to WT5

Non-collection items from previous seasons will be added to store for direct purchase

Shields stuff;

Launch tomorrow in the Division 1, unlocks rewards for The Division 1 and The Division 2.

They are new challenges in the game.

Some will be retroactive. If you've already accomplished them, they pop immediately.

Some will not be, forcing you to go out and do some activities.

Shields will get progressively harder. The first 4 are to get players engaged with the system/game again.

1st one Shepard: is unlock the base of operations (likely retroactive for everyone). Other ones: avenger:(kill 10 named bosses in the open world (LZ), 10 in the dark zone, 10 in west side piers. Deadeye: complete all of the weekly HVTs in any given week. Hazard: clear 25 landmarks in the DZ.

Another 8 will be added as they move towards The Division 2 launch.

Shields are account wide (can switch characters if you want), but some of the rewards go to the specific character you are playing when you complete the shield.

Each shield unlock has an associated patch (vanity item) and audio log.

Once they are live, they stay live (aka you don't have a short time period to complete these shields).

Shield Encrypted Cache:gives you 1 exotic, 2 classified gear set pieces, 2000 phoenix credits, 500 div tech, and 3 cypher keys (Thanks for the assist in the comments).

Shields divided into tiers (4 tiers). They unlock in The Division 2: Tier 1: unique weapon skin, Tier 2: outfit/vanity patch. Tier 3: Emote and backpack dye. Tier 4: trophy (something hanging off your backpack, etc.).

I just think it's a bit amusing to balance gear sets with some basis on what goes on in the Dark Zone when its whole concept is so far removed from balanced gameplay to start with. I felt the same when the Provident M44 OHK build got nerfed way before Alpha Bridge did.

I wiped 2 Amhersts last night because f$$ktard McStrikerf$$k kept dropping their bull$hit lunchbox ontop of mine and got us all killed.

First time, 2nd part... 3 of us huddle up and his lunchbox negated my healing that got our group ganked.
Second group, after the apartment up the ladder, same shit.

I dropped group after that.

Won't have to worry about that anymore!!!!

Just as well I signed in with my main character as I seemed to have got rewards for each completed gear set I have on my loadouts. Need the normal cash.

When that happens blow your box and move.
Huddling up gets you killed more often than not. Reclaiming is less than optimal on Amherst, at least run pulse or a turret if you do.

Both times, the dropping of the poor lunchbox and the wipes happened pretty quickly and without much warning. The best way I could describe it was like in D1, when a titan popping their bubble in front of the party, just as the party is about to unleash Gjallarhorn death upon a foe.

Besides, on the roof top (right when you leave the apartment and climb up the big ladder) you sorta have to huddle up.
