We destroyed him. Suros Regime FTW. One of our members had to leave before the fight, so we went for it anyway. Team was myself, Jonesy, Vindictive, Marines (had to leave), JRmotor, and Green.

Two of us (including myself) got Vision of Confluence (solar damage, full-auto Scout rifles). I got raid boots. Green got an auto shotgun. Three of our members got nothing as they did the raid already this week.

OOooh fanstic work guys. Vision is so fantastic. I currently have two leveled up. Probably the best legendary in the game.

I'm assuming the split was two on harpy duty and three inside? Did the teleports ever send only 2?

Several of our members have run this raid 3+ times now. They really enjoy it, even when they have nothing to gain from it. We're at the point where we can start running other clan members through who have no experience as long as they have the gear to get them up to level 27/28.
Oh, yes, forgot to mention: raid team was all level 28s and 29s.

Yup. That point is pretty neat isn't it. I'm pretty pumped for Tuesday. We are going to be running raids and nightfalls all day. 3+ times each.

I'm guessing these are normal runs. What about hard? (Not like I'm up for even a normal run anytime soon, just wondering what the next evolution is.)

Hard mode is level 30. In addition, if one person dies they are unable to be revived until a checkpoint is reached. We are going to have a tickertape parade on these forums when one of our groups beat it.

do you have it leveled all the way? How good is the accuracy if you tune it for max accuracy?
I mean if it's full auto you might as well see it as a low RoF auto rifle.

He gave up after 3 hours, but we will be back tommorow night. Still, the most notorious section was completed... the initial three rounds of conflux defense. I have a video of that I might upload.
This is very tough stuff man. >.<

THebb and I knocked it out with a tower random last night. Stumbled across a great cheese spot for the final boss purely by accident. Back right side of the boss room, just to the right of doors the boss comes in from. Go to the right side of the ramp there that goes to the upper level and drop down into the little open space behind the crates. More or less can't be shot, nice spot for a Hunter or Titan to hang out in case other guys need revives. Plus, if you can draw aggro from the boss, he'll come over and continually try to AOE stomp you, but you won't take any damage. Easy sniper headshots, GG, QQ.

Bullets not as much as his missiles. At times the missiles can slip through the openings and nail you. But yeah, it's a great spot for doing it on harder modes.

Can the entire team be there safely? Last night we had one guy there, I was on the other side of the room and got downed and that's when things went sour.

We didn't have any real strategy going in -- as I said, I happened to stumble across that spot accidentally while I was trying to heal up -- but the way it worked for us was that one guy was on the other side of the room sniping and trying to avoid the adds. 2nd guy kinda came in and out of the safe spot as he pleased depending on where the boss was, while I, as a Bladedancer, hung out in the "safe spot" and went invisible to revive anyone that got downed, then returned to the safe spot once it was safe to do so. The only things able to hit us there were adds with the grenade launcher type weapons. At one point both other guys got downed, and that's when the boss came after me with the AOE stomp attack and got wrecked by sniper headshots.
Side note: With a team of Bladedancer, Defender, and Sunsinger, you'd have to try really hard to fail on anything other than the Raid. Invisible revives, shielded revives, and self revives are a combo that's tough to beat.

I was the one going in and out of that "safe spot." I was usually just going almost directly up from there to the top level between the wall and a crate that sits next to a beam. I'd say it was a "semi-safe spot" as guys could hit me if they really tried, but they more or less just didn't realize I was there. There were multiple times when legionaries and the like we're trying to figure out how to get to the guys down in the "safe spot" and basically put their backs right up against me in that hole, making it easy to melee/shoot/kill them.

We did the weekly and the nightfall last night, from what the third person in our group was saying, there is another cheese spot on the opposite corner of the room from where you enter. Both times the fight ended with him trapped in that cheese spot, myself and the other guy in the original cheese spot, the boss standing above our cheese spot, and us taking turns repeatedly jumping up out of the spot, hitting him with a few shots, and falling back to safety. It wasn't beautiful, but it worked.

Yeah, none of the cheese spots are all that much fun/pretty/honorable, but you sure can't argue with the results.
