Anyone know the S&D experience breakdown? i remember in past games it was like 500 for a kill, 1000 for a headshot, and i think in mw2 you could get 5000 for shooting down a pavelow. anyone have the details for AW?
Kill Headshot Firstblood Assist Plant/Defuse Explosion Shooting down UAV/Air Support Round win?
at least compared to black ops, it looks like S&D has gone back to being a viable gamemode for ranking up relatively quickly, or at least on par, with other gamemodes. i think in black ops they nerfed the experience system a bit. in AW, im routinely getting between 15000-30000 experience. when you score ~2000+ you can have massive experience depending on if any challenges were also completed.

It depends on what the medals are worth.
Does anyone have any idea what the medals are worth? AW provides no direct indication, unlike BO2.

It's a high risk game mode (meaning it is very easy to get no experience). While a game of domination guarantees you anywhere from 5k to 15k experience even if you do shitty, a poor game of search will get you nada. But a good game is comparable, maybe even better.
The only thing that bothers me is that challenges & camos are still centered around "get X kills". It would be nice if kills in search would count 5x towards these challenges, but that would fill the lobbies with boosters...

It's been like that in every single Call of Duty.
Casuals don't play Search. Sorry, guys. Expecting these guys to change obvious flaws in CoD that have been extant for seven years is a fool's errand.
(That said, kills in Search should count tenfold for challenge purposes, as that's the XP scale. This would probably make the game mode a ton more popular, actually.)

I was always under the impression that search is the mode you play AFTER you get the setup you want. It's the way to find out if a weapon setup is good overall.
