It is "small" and "legendary", so don't expect anything exotic  Dumien is betting that this is either a legendary sparrow or a legendary ship. Considering that we already got a legendary sparrow (The Tumbler), my money (if I place a bet) is on latter. |

I bet it's a ship too. They seem hellbent on restricting people getting loot for some reason. They even took out shaders from the vendors to be included as a random drop from ranking up.  |

With the insane OPness of Gjallarhorn (it does twice as much damage as the second best RL in the game, "Truth"), my guess is that it will be forever kept in the RNG land unless it is nerfed. Xur sold it back on second week when very few people have the coins, unlikely to happen again. Otherwise everybody and their dogs will have one (or 3) and all raids will degenerate into heavy ammo firing range . That's exactly what's happening to Crota, the most powerful boss in the game is no match 1 on 1 to a player with Gjallar. That's insane, even the worst strike boss the "Archon Priest" can last longer. |

Bungie decides to keep the suspense going instead of just telling us what the gift is, so let's continue the guessing game.
More hints are dropped: a) it can be "dismantled", and b) some players will see no reason to even keep it in the vault.
So maybe not a ghost shell / sparrow / ship (they can only be discarded, not dismantled, and if unique the majority of the players will probably keep it). Armors are class specific so less likely, hmm, maybe a legendary weapon? Players who already have it are likely to "swiftly" dismantle...

Sounds like a legendary weapon or armor to me, maybe a Vanguard/Faction rank up package without having having to rank up -- a little glimmer, a few marks, and a random legendary. Nothing special, that's for sure.

Prolly whatever legendary weapon the most people already have... which would prolly work out well for me since I probably don't have it. heh (Srsly only legendary primaries are hand cannons... I'm actually kind of spoiled to them now. Scout rifles feel too weak. heh)

I'm looking forward to it! I just hope I don't get a hand cannon or fusion rifle. I'm swimming in those. I need a gorram auto rifle or sniper rifle plx! Hell I actuall dismantled a legendary FR last night because I got a new arc one and I already had Plan C and Murmur which can both do arc. I probably don't need the new one either, but I figured I should get it's XP filled up before I dismantle for extra goodies... (Or does that work with weapons?)
Hell I'll take a scout rifle or MG too. I've got two purple launchers now so hoping not to get one of those just now. And I don't need a pulse rifle... period...

I only checked one character before going to work.
If you haven't had a chance to pick it up: imagine it as not much different from the "legendary package" we get from Vanguard/Faction/Crucible rank up, but less awesome (just one item, no glimmer/coins etc.)
