I'm just curious if any bros are going for it. I'd love to hear about it. More in general terms as I've never run CE.

BTW...i signed on this morning, around 6:30am....did not see an option for the Hard Crota mode. Did it come on this afternoon?

Crota's End HM was released at 10:00 AM Pacific, just like Bungie said it would be in last week's update. TripleWreck was the first group to beat it, apparently in just 49 minutes.

I just checked. People are saying the first two parts are still able to be done solo. Doesn't sound like to many things changed. Mostly towards the end and mostly it sounds with harder enemies.
-----------------------------
Abyss - boards say the 2nd lamppost is still jumpable. Ogre at the bridge is much more difficult. Bridge - Some guy claimed he still did the jump technique from tower, to the other side. Ogres were harder to kill then. Deathsinger - Liturgy begins quicker, knights seem to track better (as in they all go to whatever side you're on. Crota:
- Boomers are majors. When they are killed a wizard spawns. - No chalice. - Gatekeeper there - Crota takes more damage to kill

I did hard mode yesterday. Was a group of five level 32's and one level 31.
- Forest Run was pretty much the same, we got it I think on the second attempt. - Bridge Encounter was also fairly straightforward, only took us a few attempts. - Shrieker Hallway I'm not sure what was different, only thing I noticed was that it seemed like the door closed a lot quicker. However, it appears that the invisible walls re-appear at some point. I think some guy that had died hit respawn and he ended up respawning downstairs, and was unable to get the chest. I used Radiance to revive, but couldn't get to the chest because of the invisible wall, and had to suicide and respawn downstairs as well. Really annoying, because it means what people will probably end up doing is hunting down someone with the Normal mode checkpoint every week in order to get that chest. - Deathsinger to be honest I've only done once or twice before and never actually knew what the hell was going on. We ended up slowly losing people until we only had one guy left clearing the Knights out of that room. - Crota was a disaster, we had basically no new strategy, were just using the same strategy from the normal mode. You kill Knights and they respawn almost immediately, that Wizard popped out at perfect time to block our rockets on Crota. We didn't even get close before I gave up and went to bed. One person dying brought out the Oversoul, which wiped us every time.
I will say, it seemed fairly good with the weapon drops. I'm not certain, but it looked like 4 people got the Oversoul Edict from the Forest Run, and another 4 got the Abyss Defiant from the Bridge Encounter.
