Reasons to never go on GFAQs: 1. I'm considered an expert there. 2. It's GFAQs. I mean, come on man.

Does anyone have definitive data on the maximum number of supply drops that can be saved at the same time? I've had people tell me that it's 4 but then once those 4 are opened, they immediately received the other supply drops that they should have earned as though they still earned them but there was no indication of such. Thoughts?

No idea the maximum and I doubt it's been tested. Try and stack 6 drops and let us know. If that works then you can stack a bunch of crates to get first dibs on new loot thrown into the pool. Since we know loot is most likely determined upon opening*.

F#^! it - I'll do it live. </joke> I am testing though and will update thread.

Just an update, currently at 5 stacks of supply crates. Last crate is from the daily challenge. I'll know tonight if you can stack more.

So now I should have earned a 6th crate but it isn't showing up in my inventory. I used up my crates and didn't get my 6th crate. So it looks like a max of 5 crates.

Did the game automatically open one of the crates or simply not give you a drop?

Did the game automatically open one of the crates or simply not give you a drop? I hadn't considered them automatically opening the crate. I didn't do an inventory check prior to this test. The test is scrubbed. Shame. I'll redo the experiment.

Does anyone know what happens if you receive identical and duplicate "reinforcement" care packages in one sitting? Will you get say, two care packages 4 minutes in your next match, or just one? We know the loot system is determined by RNG, but I wonder if these disappointing reinforcements can be minimized by opening several supply drops simultaneously.
Is it possible that once you get one of them in your queue, it disallows any more to be selected by subsequent supply drop openings.

Was buffed big time. Not sure of the mechanics yet, will keep an eye out.

Thanks, I'm going to collect unopened supply drops and I'll keep you posted in the upcoming days.

Condrey just tweeted that supply drop contents are determined at time of acquisition.
...but this wouldn't be the first time he was wrong about his own game.
