I can't from here. Anything good? Sort of. Mostly just some broad concepts. I haven't followed real closely, so I found it interesting.

I got an email with tips for the Dust Palace strike. What I find interesting is two of the tips suggest some interesting things about the strike. One that it seems the psion operators will have shields of various elements that we'll have to adjust to. But more interestingly the Flayers at the end of the strike will call in tough reinforcement when they die so it's to your advantage to coordinate with your team and take them all down together.
I dunno, sounds like an interesting strike is all and considering I really like the Omnigul one maybe they are learning when it comes to strikes.

I would still like to find out what we need.
Ascendent Energies and Shards? Radiant Energies and Shards? Coins? Motes of Lights? etc..

While the article does have the right idea, I would not really believe the details they are saying. I stopped reading when they adviced leveling up the AK stand aside exotic titan boots first, for ToO. They also indicate you want to buy new armour on the first day the DLC arives, but that armour will only get you to lvl 32, and therefore is a waste of time/resources on the first few weeks IMHO. They seem to have a general idea of what needs to be done, but Reddit and other sources have a more educated view at the matter. Looks like they found the info on other places, and combined it with the limited knowledge they have themselves on the game. So you might be better of finding some comparable intel 1st hand from ppl who know what they are talking about. That is my point of view though. You don't need any old materials. Only exotic shards, weapon parts, planetary materials and glimmer to upgrade gear. Motes of Light can be used to rerol the new vendor weapons @ gunsmith, as well as IB weapons. The rest can be changed in for glimmer/motes/etc at the speaker. You can not buy etheric light at the speaker (the stuff needed to upgrade your old gear to lvl 34) There is no difference in upgrading 300 attack vs 331 attack weapons, so don't turn in any weapons @ xur anymore. Exotics need to be fully leveled in order to reach lvl 34/365 attack I am not sure if legendaries need to be fully upgraded to reach lvl 34/365, but I know the new legendaries will not have damage bubbles. That should get you prepared.
