I was looking through Marvel's sheet and came across "adsZoomFov" and I was wondering, is there a known value I can compare that too? What FOV is your character at before ADSing? Also, does it change with resolution (pretty sure this is a stupid question but still)?

I think on Standard Definition (480p or less) it's a bit less than 65.

65, never changes unless you play on PC which has an FOV slider. Separate question: How is your sensitivity affected then? Don't think sensitivity is ever changed. By going ADS you aren't "technically" reducing your sensitivity, but it feels like you are because ADS is a reduction in FOV. By lowering FOV, you are "zooming in" on the center more, which in turn pushes objects on the edge of your screen further away from center. Because the objects at 50 FOV look further away from center screen than at 65 FOV, it takes you longer to move from center screen to those objects than if you were at 65 FOV. The opposite happens when you increase FOV. Going from 65 to 90 FOV, objects on the edge of your screen are pushed inward (because you are "zooming out" by increasing FOV), and so there is less distance between center and those objects, so it takes you less time (=higher sensitivity) to pan from center to an object.

That kind of answers my question. I had another related one as well if you don't mind. What do the sensitivity values actually stand for? As in, is it something similar to sensitivity value = number of degrees travelled at max velocity in a certain period of time (might not be anything close to that but I'm just trying to give an example to help articulate my question)? Also, what is the ratio of vertical to horizontal sensitivity in CoD games? Or if it differs then what are some common ones?

the sensitivity numbers are totally arbitrary and are only really useful in relation to each other. The in game numbers are, but the config file numbers are not, although this is only truly useful to PC players for obvious reasons.

Battlefield sensitivity per FOV zoom level settings: COD sensitivity per FOV zoom level settings: One's a console shooter for casuals and one's a PC shooter for slightly less casual players. Also one had such a disastrous launch and first year they added more shit to try and appease their consumers.

Well I'm on my phone, so it helps me keep track of what I'm responding too. And the game is designed for PC and the vast majority of players are PC players, just because they also did it for console doesn't mean anything. CoD is designed for consoles, so obviously PC will get the short end of the stick.

Honestly AW had a better launch. At least AW saved my GODDAMN CAMPAIGN PROGRESS. Seriously I had to play the campaign, in full, 3 times just so I could my P90 for MP in BF4, because it either crashed and didn't save any progress or when I saved and exited the game it didn't actually save the progress.
