Below is what i am seeing when i play this game solo. Let's just say tonight's experience has sort of, kind of, been the norm for me so far. This is how my CoD BO3 can be summed up to date:
I am using some stats here, to illustrate some points.
------------------------------------
I started tonight with a record of 44-42 in Domination. The only reason i know that, is because i saw the little record WL box in the bottom left corner last night, after my last game. When i got done playing tonight, after about three hours of gaming, my record was 52-45. So on the surface, I went 8 wins, and 3 losses. Not bad?
Not really.
I actually played 24 games tonight. Not 11. And out of the 24 I played, 15 of those games were "Games in Progress". That's not a typo. 63% of the games i played, were me being dumped into a losing effort. Typically joining a team in some stage of beatdown. Losing, UAV's up in the air against us, other streaks, typically also down a man or two, as people are quitting out. Let it be said, i stuck it out and finished every single one of those 15 GiPs. Why not? I'm not charged with a loss. And in fact, out of those 15 GiPs, i managed to pull out wins in two of them. Yay me, i suppose. Those two wins counted. The other 13 losses? They didn't count. So let me repeat that.
24 games played
-----------------
15 Games in Progress (i joined onto a losing team)
9 actual 'real' games, that i played from the start, even up. Record was 6-3.
Now the question. How is one supposed to play this game at the above pace? Where 2 out of every 3 games, i am playing in a pile of sh1t left behind by quitters. Now before anyone says, "Why don't you just keep staying in the lobby you were in", ....well, why should I? One nice addition to this game is NOW the pre-lobbies actually show if there is a party or not. You can see how fair or unfair the lobby is. On almost every GIP i joined, post match, there was a party of five or six players on the team that won big. With the way people play this game, quitting upon even strong breeze, why even go into a game solo, against a full party? I'm not that good at this game, mostly average, ....so why set myself up for what is an unfair match?
So what does one do? It's not really the most fun of evenings, where you play for three hours, and two of those..... you are just getting dumped into a GiP, and then crapped on in a losing game, having streak after streak dumped on you. I think having to spend 2/3rd's of one's time playing this way, is asking a bit to much of anyone. How can anyone take that abuse? How does one get through this solo?
Serious question up there. Stopped playing a bit ago, and seriously wondered, am i really going to do the above for another six months or year on this game?
