What do you reckon is the most effective SMG silenced? Definitely the Vesper. It's range is already terrible so how much worse can it get? It fires so fast that 6 shots to kill isn't even that bad honestly, and that's a worst-case scenario. It has high recoil, but mostly vertical which makes it doable at range on occasion. Up close it's a stealthy powerhouse. Suppressor + extended mags is my go-to setup with the vesper, and I just run a bunch of perks with it. This gun is eerily similar to the Scorpion Evo from BO2 which was awesome as well.

Is it just me, or do the silenced weapons in this game sound as loud as their unsilenced counterparts, from the shooter's perspective? Using HD598s with mixamp pro
I may just be too used to MW2

Some of the weapons don't really sound much different at all from not suppressed, like the P-06 and the Razorback.

Yes they are all really loud silenced. The only benefit I see is the lack of red dot. I can still hear silenced shooters even from real far away.
But hardly anyone really uses sound very well, while almost everyone relies heavily on the minimap, so the red dot part is still a big deal.
