Even though I'm 1 1/2 weeks into the game, I'm still having a hard time pinpointing the high traffic areas on many of the maps. On some of them, they're pretty obvious, ie. the corridor on the south side of Combine, the cave area on the northeast side of Hunted, the central part of Fringe, as well as surrounding buildings, etc.
Would anybody care to share what they've seen during their time playing the game, especially for TDM? Thanks in advance, kind folks.

I really only know the ones out of FFA by heart, particularly Breach and Combine -- bloodthirsties for days, courtesy of soundwhore. :u

Where are you seeing the most firefights on Combine and Breach? On the latter, I generally patrol the outskirts of the map, and I can usually get a decent number of kills if I patrol the rooms on the southern side of the map. The northern and eastern sides of the map seem pretty dead, at least in TDM. I know you've been playing FFA, but I would imagine that I'd see similar hotspots on Team Death Match. And maybe I'm weird, but I tried using Awareness with some Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Ones, and for the life of me, I can't seem to pinpoint from where the enemy is approaching when I hear their footsteps.

Northern side of breach is the best spot in all of FFA IMO. At least as far as getting nuked out is concerned, and believe me I tried a lot of spots on a lot of maps: xboxclips.com/Pegasus+Actual/4713ef56-9b52-4586-bb67-8bc1f55e9ff7It's easy to cut people off no matter what way they go from that spawn in the back. The tight staircase is a great place to duck in for cover, and it's fairly easy to pick people up on the top side if you listen for the boosts.

The carnage in the video was too much for my delicate constitution, I had to skip to the end but it cuts out before the final score. Did you go 30-0?

Want to go into options audio settings, advanced volume and tune down voice volume, music volume but leave SFX to level which you can hear footsteps. Still times which I won't hear people coming up near me but 70% I can using pair of cheap headphones. Played FFA the most based on what I seen most maps have 2-3 hot zones and mini kills spread about the place. Map design is sort of forcing players into each other over tactical loitering you would think. Obvious power postions with loads of lines of sights which creates more tactical loitering over less. Some of them don't get any traffic at all. Most of the time in TDM find people are behind me before I even know and in other modes end up spawning near people. Feels like the maps have a pattern but I can't work it out. Feels like the maps was trying to be Esports friendly but failed in a public setting to be fun. Aquarium has one spot which is power position but can lack traffic at times. Does require you to stay in that spot not many players have noticed it. Based on what I played one or two locations across some maps which do the same but you have to play passive.

Didn't put up the scoreboard, but yeah, that was my 30-0 run for the "Nuked Out" calling card, hence the UAV/CUAV/HATR + Combat Focus loadout. Usually I won't stick to one area that hard for my own sanity, but running all around all but guarantees a random death.

Wish FFA still existed on PC. Got all my Nukes for the calling card in MW2 from just farming FFA with a headset. Good times.

There's no FFA in the PC version? There is but it just dies superfast. Like I tried to go into FFA a bunch of times but there's only ever like 4-5 guys and only one lobby up that I usually have a poor connection to. So the games are super slow as it's only like 4-5 guys playing hide and seek most of the time. Usually there's always one Reaper going around with his free super Dead Silence that throws me off.

The state of PC COD always makes me sad. And Titanfall for that matter. Thanks god for XIM4 otherwise I might have to... go outside or something.
