Good work I guess. I can't believe that's the only damn gun. So basically Gung-Ho is trash unless you're running a pure hip-fire class. I guess Shotguns and Akimbo pistols are good candidates.

Gung Ho is NOT trash. It's just competing in the toughest perk class. Reminder that you can still shoot almost instantly if you ADS-cancel from sprint.
Try this:
HVK-30 Suppressor Laser Sight Stock
Dead Silence + Gung-Ho
It's good at EVERYTHING.

I don't think I'd run it if it were in the perk 1 slot, where there is by far the biggest flexibility. Tier 3 is dominated by DS, Awareness, and to a lesser extent, Engineer, and Tac Mask. Tier 2 is dominated by Hardwired, which in present form, is one of the most powerful perks ever created, right along with BO1 Ghost, and Stopping Power, and Fast Hands. Since they nerfed Quickdraw, the sprint out buff looms larger.
They really do need to take away at least one immunity from Hardwired. It makes you immune to all traps and radar disruption, which is too much for similar reasons why BO1 Ghost was too powerful and ran on every class.

Tier 3 was dominated by Dexterity and Tac Mask (or Engineer if you preferred more versatility when it came to seeing traps, versus versatility against grenades) because Awareness was useless, and as a result, so was Dead Silence. ExCon might have been valuable if it offered infinite sprint but it didn't. I don't really run a tier 3 perk at all now, outside of counter classes, but Gung Ho is still competing with many good perks. If I was a Dead Silence + Awareness user I couldn't justify taking Gung Ho over Fast Hands though, since both perks give you a sprint out time that's faster than the ADS time + quickdraw, even for the Razorback. I normally use 3 perks now, with Fast Hands + Scav a must on my regular classes, and for my third perk I'd normally take Afterburner. Even as a non-DS/Awareness user I don't see the point in Gung Ho, unless maybe I needed Hard Wired and Scav and then swapped Afterburner for Gung Ho so I'd have at least some use for quickdraw.
