I've read that soon, you can stream your PS4 to your PC. Isn't this to combat those keyboard and mouse to console ports? It may have a major affect on CoD and other games as well, as auto aim on the consoles + mice = recipe for disaster

Doesn't Xbox already have this?

Doesn't Xbox already have this? I know you can stream a 360 through an X1, idk about streaming the X1 through a computer.

Well whatever the case, depending on if CoD's included, sounds nice. PC controls without the dead PC environment.

You can stream XB1 to Windows 10, but it has a noticeable delay.
Also, there are no mice/keyboard supports, only Xim. And game pads. They promised someday, though *sniff*

Yeah if it's anything like the Windows solution you still have to use a game pad.
Careful what you wish for though. MS's drive to push cross platform compatibility and universal apps over the MS store seems to be starting off with crippled locked down PC games. No mods, v sync always on, no true full screen, no SLI support, etc. Meaning cross platform to them might just mean making your PC gaming experience more like a console gaming experience, which isn't what any PC gamer wants.
I could imagine a future COD title being cross platform... But you can only play it on PC at 60 FPS with a locked FOV with a Xbox controller for example. I don't ever see a future where they let console people play with KB and mouse people or with all the plethora of options PC gamers get in other games compared to console peons.

Well your life probably went to shit when you heard that Xbox wants to be friends and let anyone play with anyone across platforms. If Steam and Sony agree to the offer, first it'd be Microsoft dominant in a heartbeat, and second, rip all the claims of PC master race when it comes to multiplayer gameplay...

I'd love cross platform play. Especially for COD, since it's such a deadzone on PC.
