I think they've already confirmed that they're going to nerf the orange glow. But probably zero chance that they go ahead and get rid of it. I figure if I'm bouncing off the walls and flying through the sky I'm obvious enough already. The orange glow probably doesn't hurt me much, but it does help me harvest tasty ground potatoes.

As Den said on the first? page... aim assist is super strong. It's really satisfying to get an air kill railgun with the AR.

Oh yeah I forgot!
The bunnyhop window seems MUCH more forgiving than in TF1.

I hope it's a new section of Angel City, not just the same map over again. Atlas:Tone: Tone is about accurately laying waste to enemies both efficiently - and explosively. Ion: Ion uses it's energy management abilities to divert power between it's three weapons systems. Stryder:Northstar: Northstar is a master of both flight and precision kills. Ronin: Ronin loves getting up close with it's samurai vibe, and quick to get in and out tactics. Ogre:Legion: Legion utilizes an assortment of ballistic abilities focusing on defense and control. Scorch: Scorch manipulates fire as it's primary source of defensive and offensive abilities. www.titanfall.com/en_us/news/new-titans/My favourites are looking to be Tone, Northstar, and Ronin. Will have to play with each to know for sure though. I was not a fan of Ion, Scorch was so-so.

Angel City is gonna be like Nuketown for this franchise, except not sucky. It's not gonna be a 'new section', that would be an epic troll.
Edit: Holy shit, these Titans...
Legion has what sounds like... a Blackbeard (R6) style face shield on a chaingun? A core that smart pistols all his chaingun shots? Long distance precision rounds and up close shreddy shred rounds?
North Star hovers, has Plasma Rifle and Cluster Missile, and can tether stuff... Those abilities are cool but will the Plasma Rifle actually be useful?
Fucking Tone... 40mm. Particle Wall. His ordnance sounds pretty much like MTMS. Sonar = wallhack ability? This is kind of like they ported a top tier loadout from the original.
And Ronin the ninja, who we kind of knew about before.
Notable that the arc cannon is gone. I'll miss you my OP buddy, and I'll miss all those easy geese. Speaking of which, seems like Ion is the go-to Gooser for this game, though maybe Legion is decent, I mean, I'm sure his core ability will do the trick.

Yup same map: https://www.reddit.com/r/titanfall/comments/50hxnh/meet_the_6_allnew_titans_of_titanfall2/d746cdv Well hopefully we get to explore more of the city in the campaign then. I love the look of it and want to know more about it (if you look outside the map you can see just how massive it is. I also have the art book from the first game and it shows a lot more)

Come to think of it, I wonder how useless the Stryder titans will be without a rechargable shield. My entire playstyle revolved around using my dashes to pop in, unload damage (using the quad rocket launcher and cluster missile), then dash around a corner to recharge my own shield. My first titan obtained would usually last the entire match. Hmm I guess this is better for balance though.

If you ask me, they should copy paste all of the old maps, and simply put them in a separate playlist (as long as the playerbase allows for it).
It is one of my gripes with COD, why waste all those great maps?

Love all three of the new ones.
Tone is looking Superb. MTMS, Particle Wall (tho this one looks nerfed in that it has a damage cap unlike TF1),and MTMS were all part of my "I'm facing good players" titan class of choice.
I got giddy when I saw Northstar doing its hover thing. I totally called flying titan way back when. Some of the map areas had me thinking my guess was a certainty. Go me. I wonder how useful hover actually is. I think it will have to do with where its crit spots are and how much time the extra bit of map traversal actually saves.
As for Legion...I think I only noticed the main weapon. I couldn't ascertain whether or not any abilities were going on. Where did you see a faceshield or the smart pistol chaingun Pegasus? I liked the look of how stable the gun seemed. Very Bastion-esque. Hopefully he has some good "defensive abilities" because Tone's Particle Wall seems like the boss right now.
Also I figured I would mention that I liked how Ronin's phaseshift/teleport ability was handled. By making the movement real-time and not a super fast blink like Destiny it allows for more user control, mindgames, and prediction from enemies. That little moment in the trailer actually made me excited to play him.
Also... because of this trailer... I'm starting to see Scorch's Place in the titan lineup. He seems to have the only straight up area denial abilities outside of Ion's one trap. I imagine he will actually see alot of play if they include CTF and LTS because that napalm burns for a really really long time.

Legion! Oh boy. I can't tell you how powerful knock back (Crowd Control) effects are in moveset based games like TF2 is turning out to be. Depending on how far the opponent gets knocked back and if they get stunned or not will determine how amazing it is. Even a little bit can go a really long way in fights that aren't 1 v 1 since you can use the ability to retreat in a 1 v X or help your teammates stack on the damage in an X v 1.
The same can be said of Ronin's "slow" effect. If that slow "stacks" then you could just roam around with your multiple ronins/maybe a legion or two and maintain constant titan superiority. Ronin's phase shift seems excellent for negating the window of invincibility tha titans have from spawning in with a bubble shield. See a pilot get in? Pop phase shift and wait out the invincibility. Pop arc blade and combo it down. GG. Remember how I talked about how TF2 looks like a "moveset game?" Invincibility effects are generally amazing and highly coveted abilities.
Upon further reflection, I'm going to predict that Legion and Tone are going to be the mighty 2. My playstyle in TF1 revolved around killing lots and lots of titans by engineering lots and lots of 1 v 1s and practicing the matchups over and over. I would always try to one up myself by ending a fight without taking damage. Eventually I got confident enough to try winning 1 v 2s and I had a decent success rate against average players. It looks like these two titans lend themselves to pup stomping AND fighting good players. I think Ion looks great for pubstomping with the nasty mix of goose potential and probably the strongest core in the game. BUT... Damage potential is where it is at against good players. The hitscan wasn't the only reason the arc cannon was so good in TF1. It also eeked out those tiny points of extra damage against good players. I don't think Ion's Primary is good enough. There isn't any arc cannon we fall back to comparing the runners up...the 40 mil and the chaingun. It's going to come down to which is better in the 1 v 1... which can sustain the most health in that situation.
Also I figured I would mention that I think they are designing lodestar as the natural counter to a hunkered down Legion. You need to snipe those bastions you know...
