Anybody got networks we should join? I think there was one on PC for denbros that I joined, but I haven't found anything on PS4.
I'm not looking for happy hours. Honestly it's just easier to create a new network with a current happy hour every time I start playing. heh (I was originally gonna make one for all 24 hours and found out about the 5 network limit, but to be honest just making a new one every time is better since it doesn't clog up my networks. heh) ;3 I'm more interested in being slightly more social since I've yet to play TF2 with anybody but my RL bro.

On XONE we have "54 Immortals", send your join request to Pegasus Actual for approval. What we found out about Network is that it is an excellent way to get around XONE party issues, which can happen from time to time, namely "invite party to game" just fails in mysterious ways. Switch to in-game "invite network" on the other hand works out very smoothly. We also have a XONE club named "54 Immortals" as well  . |

And you play when I should be working, and failing that I'm usually napping. If I fix my schedule somewhat I'll probably hop into games more. |

Do you not think we should be able to discriminate between networks based on server location of the members?
I would love to join various networks however the happy hour tends to be at a ridiculous hour and I want to play with people on the London server (lowest ping for me)

Heck whenever I start to play I leave my network and just create a new one, same name and all and set the happy hour so it's active... You can create up to 5 networks and as long as you're the only member or someone else is the owner of a network you can leave it anytime. (If someone else joins a network of yours that you want to leave you can make them the owner on the website, then you can make a new one and even use the same name and clan tag... they aren't unique.)

I'm literally only in three Networks on PS4. Advocate and two that I made. One for me and my brother to game together since there's no way inviting party functionality that I can find, and one I leave and recreate over and over for happy hours. Sometimes the 2nd and 3rd are the same so I only have two networks.
Can't find a DenK network on PS4 and I don't have much in the way of friends on PS4 playing TF2.

After a vigorous one-month application waiting period, I finally got accepted into 54i. My life is now complete And you promptly saw pretty much nobody online! Sorry about that, haven't been on Titanfall lately, but the one time I did play I remembered to check the admin section and approve the names I recognized (and harshly reject anyone I didn't!). Family time, plus R6 Siege, and the way they killed LTS with that best of 5 nonsense. I booted up the PC version on Saturday afternoon and LTS was totally dead there. Ouch! Hopefully tomorrow's Frontier News thing will have something to help me get excited about this game again, instead of a couple of clips from Reddit and a link to GameSager's Twitch... |

Call me crazy but I personally like the best of 5. In the old system games could last really really long if you played against a team that sat back. Also if it comes up in mixtape, it seems players quit less compared to the best of 7 (probably because of how long it lasted before).
For competitive play, best of 7 might be best, but for funzies with randoms, 5 is fine.

I guess we are in completely different camps regarding LTS. I like it as a change of pace, while for you it is your core game mode.
Can you set the rounds to win in a private match? If yes, I think all is well like it is.

I never played before the change, but I'm definitely fine with the best of 5. For me I play as a change of pace as well. I feel like LTS is too limited a game mode to play it almost exclusively. Pilot skills and weapons are hardly even a factor when nearly everybody spends nearly all the time in their titans and there are no grunts or anything. But it is a great mode for some quick titan v titan gameplay and I love that. I may prefer attrition over all, but when I'm really itching for playing my titan it offers too little titan time.
The thing is with LTS you get a lot more games where one side totally dominates, and there's not even an evacuation phase. You just lose. Not only that but you still gotta play the same team again, and lose again, and again, before you're finally free to try to play a more evenly matched game. It sucks big donkey balls. Personally I hate quitting, but I see why some people do quit after the first match, because there are definitely games where you know from the start that the matchup is far too uneven to have a chance and all you're going to do is have another two miserable rounds. If it was best of 7 it would make that even worse.
Although I can see why best of 7 might technically be better, especially with the halftime switch.
Maybe there's a better way to handle it than just making it best of 5. Maybe it could be best of 7 unless one team dominates for 3 matches, and then either they get the win or the losing team can vote to concede much like in MOBA games. Or you could win with 3 as long as you're at least 2 matches ahead, otherwise you need 4 to win. So a 3-0 or 3-1 would be victory but 3-2 would go to 4 matches to win. Sort of like truncated Tennis scoring.
I dunno, there's lots of ways you could tweak it. Personally though, when considering only best of 7 vs best of 5 I prefer best of 5, because I spend less time playing matches that aren't any fun at all.

Best of 5 unless both teams get at least 2 points would be awesome.
I must say though, that there is nothing as unpredictable as LTS. Even if we get roflstomped first round, we often come back the second. Getting stomped is often just as much luck as skill.
We have had teammates leave after 0-2 and 4 manned it to 3-2.
Analyse what the opponent does and counter it. Or simply step up your game.
