Nightfall: Sepiks Perfected


Old Russia, Earth The Fallen House of Devils has found a way to resurrect Sepiks, their exalted Servitor and one time God. Fight to the Devils' Lair and destroy him.


Modifiers

Epic - Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
Berserk - Minions of the Darkness won't flinch, even after massive damage.
Small Arms - Primary Weapon damage is favored.
Match Game - Enemy shields are resistant to all unmatched Elemental Damage.
Airborne - Players deal more damage while in the air.

Raid challenge mode : Aksis

Success criteria :Use the supercharge plate and slam every single teleport

Heroic - Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive.
Void Burn - Void damage from any source is greatly increased.
Brawler - Guardian melee damage is greatly increased.
Chaff - Player radar is disabled.

Christmas gift from Bungo - I got my Icebreaker last night. It was my 5th NF completion, so I guess not bad luck. I grouped with some guy who claimed to have done 17 NF'S without getting the IB. He was deleting a character, leveling to 40, running NF, and then doing it again. Sad.

Wow. Somebody's got an obsession. Icebreaker isn't even that good anymore compared to Spindle, Ex Machina, or well-rolled legendaries, is it? I know the free ammo thing is nice, but definitely not worth that kind of grind.

Yeah, I wanted it mostly for the collection. I doubt that I'll actually use it much. I loved it in Year 1, but that's mostly because I wasn't invited into the elite Gjallarhorn club...

The dad life is going good! It's still tough to get a decent chunk of free time for gaming, so I've mostly been messing around with mobile games that are easy to pick up and put down even if I only have a few minutes. I have been able to manage a couple hours of Destiny the past 2 weekends though. Finished off the SRL stuff for the Dawning record book and ran a couple strikes, but that's about it. I can't really see raiding anytime soon though -- it's always a crapshoot getting enough people, and I don't see myself getting 2 or 3 hours of free time that happen to sync up with everyone else's schedule barring a minor miracle.

It is still pretty decent but it will depend on the modifiers for strikes. I can't see solar burn and specialist being paired together too often. I use Ice Breaket on my Warlock that uses Ophidian Aspect, so the latest nerf to sniper rifles do not affect me. I wouldn't grind for it by deleting a character, but people did that for the Gjallahorn during House of Wolves for the first guaranteed exotic. Only time that justified deleting a character is during the first two weeks since launch to get Strange Coins from a story mission and to save up for the Gjallarhorn back then.

I got the Ice Breaker on my fifth attempt too. Amusing that it was my Warlock that got it since she wears Iron Regalia armour besides gauntlets, was used to cheese the bridge section in Crota's End because people are too lazy to engage in the mechanics, usually have the year one weapons that were brought forward equipped (TDYK, LDR etc.), and she often wears the Laurea Prima emblem, so that is pretty much all nostalgia.
