I heard you like arc burn and specialist modifiers... so I put some arc burn and specialist modifiers in your arc burn and specialist modifiers!




Nightfall: The Sunless Cell

Dreadnaught, Rings of Saturn Assault a prison deep in the heart of the Dreadnaught and put an end to a Hive champion.

Modifiers
Epic - Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
Arc Burn - Arc Damage from any source is greatly increased.
Specialist - Special Weapon damage is favored.
Juggler - No ammo drops for your equipped weapon.
Airborne - Players deal more damage while in the air.


Heroic Strike Playlist

Once I'm sick of IB, I might get wild and crazy and pull out Plan C... but I just can't use the 4th Horseman. I'd use the Dreg's Promise before I use that beautiful turd of a shotgun

I'll be rotating out the Tresspasser, Hereafter (say WHHHHHAAAATTT??T?T?T??T?T?T?T?) Plan C for fun, and without question: Patience and Time!

Seems Iron Banner is usually in rotation with Freeland 6v6 and Mayhem Rumble. Will be spamming Mayhem Rumble so I can get my PvP emblems finished (Bladedancer, Sunbreaker and Gunslinger still to complete). The grind for Iron Banner would be worth it if legacy Iron Banner armour dropped more frequently but obviously it's low for a reason. Other than that, I might try my luck with the bounty emblem when Dr Lupo is online. If Chris G was up on the bounty system, I would have the best crack trying for the emblem as he's supposedly around my skill area for sixes and we live in the same (small) town last time I heard.

Donated my surplus Spinmetal to Future War Cult, Spirit Bloom to Dead Orbit, and Helium Filaments to New Monarchy. Just need one faction to accept Relic Iron, which will probably be New Monarchy next week.

But doesn't Hellacool teleport? Or do all 3 jumping-4horsemen guardians melt him that fast?

Even still, I dunno if I'll use it. I'd have to waste a shard and 400 infuelsion... which are 2 things that I value more than the 4th horseman. I'd rather aave fun with the tresspasser. IF it was a hard boss fight, sure. But it's nothing dificult. Especially since this strike is usually with the grounded and chaff modifiers.

If you're just going to do the Nightfall, yeah, that boss fight is easy enough it's probably not worth the shard. But if you plan on doing Heroics this week, you'll want it. Arc Burn/Specialist/Exposure means you can go right up to any boss, unload, and get away to reload and repeat (if even necessary) without fear of dying. If you're low on health, just suicide before the boss. Or since you'll be a Stormcaller, just use your super. Arc Burn/Specialist/Exposure might be the quickest and easiest possible set of modifiers for the weekly playlist. It's actually kind of a shame we got it on a week where there's Iron Banner.

So.... TheHawkNY and I 2 manned the Nightfall... despite his careless zerging and rushed bravado, my cool, calm, collected focus carried us through to a completion. And as well as the 4th Horseman did wreck o' Hellacool, I think I wasn't close enough to him (because, you know... force of habit?) that we didn't put him down that quick. Luckly, my super was charged and I landfalled(felled) the legion of Cursed Thralls ready to come and save their master. Of course, I was showered with rewards: a piss poor roll on a 400 Crucble helmet and my weapon was a Palindrome? Ill Will? Meh, who cares? But as much as I wanted to blame Hawk, I couldn't... after showing him my Fatebringer God Imago Loop Roll, he was enraged, to almost a point of self-mutilation... I mean, who does the jumping part of the Hellacool strike before taking out the Hive Wizards that wreck you with Arc damage... on an arc burn strike? But I let him rescue me a bunch of times to sooth his bruised ego, and all was good in the world again.

After this, I felt a disturbance in the Force... we went into the Banner and I started to do well (for me) then for some reason, I switched from the Cryptic Dragon to the MIDA and started doing a lot worse. bradman joined us, then Hawk left us after a few because his girlfriend was getting him killed over eating jerk chicken (or chicken fingers... I forget)  and we went against some groups that were... interesting. Not as many Matador/party crashers as last IB which was nice, but still...  it was fun. I got one character to rank 3.8 and after tonight, I'll be done him. Lots of 400 artifact drops and a few piss poor sidearm roll drops.

A good night nevertheless.

Lol, wow, Destiny really does pull you into an alternate universe, huh? Perhaps it was my enraged mindstate causing me to have such a different recollection of the evening's events.

Last night, save a few matches, was not a positive crucible experience for me. But the jobs got done and I got gear. But I sucked something fierce. Now I have to commit a purge on my inventory unless we're getting vault space soon. And even theny, they'll raise the LL so it'll be worthless

I can still hear Shaxx screaming at me "Hive Bane!! Stop sucking!!!"

Yes, I'm sure. The bounties were on my Hunter who I have barely played with recently so there were no engrams taking up spaces where the rewards could have gone to. It looks like it's the same as Queen's Wrath, you can get a class item as a drop as itself or as a bonus to another drop.

The game's in auto-pilot mode so I'd doubt I'd get a resolve even if I am supposed to. I've heard players on DTG are having trouble with paying for Silver so they deserve to be seen to way before me. I'd rather they fix the matchmaking so players don't have to wait 5 minutes to find matches since it looks like I am not alone judging by DTG. When you can find games on previous gen consoles that have faster matchmaking times with less lag, then something is up with this game.
