Does anybody here play MWO? I only started a couple weeks back. I was craving something a bit slower and more tactical than Titanfall 2. It's an odd duck, and grindy, but I'm enjoying it.
I'm really looking forward to the skills revamp coming up soon too. Purchasing 3 variants just to be able to get my skills up for a chassis is a bit pricey... At least it is at the point I'm at in the game where I'm still having a hard time just saving up for modules that I've already unlocked the skills for. (The grind on modules feels like a double dip, GXP is already a really slow grind, but to then have to pay the cost of an entire mech for one module is really annoying. But hey, the game it-self is free so I understand why it's grindy... still I always wonder if these things need to be quite as grindy as they usually are... seems like you alienate a lot of players that way.)
probaddie: Yeah. And the direction your point of aim is kicked in is exactly the compass direction from which you were shot. Total deflection in degrees is damage * bg_viewKickScale. The time to recover (no matter the amount of kick) is 0.5 seconds.
