I generally run and gun with a sniper and I noticed that there seems to be variation in the time it takes to scope in.
An example would be to test the M1 Garand or PTRS-41 vs the Mosin Nagant.
Is there a statistic that can tell me more?

ADSTransInTime and ADSTransOutTime, already covered in a previous thread. "In" being when bringing up the sights. "Out" obviously the opposite.

I did have a look around the threads and didn't see it :/ I must be blind.
But this surely isn't correct. There has to be some variation because just look at the time for scoping in on the Mosin compared to any of the other bolt actions. (I do mean with a sniper scope).
The M1 for sure doesn't take 0.4 seconds to scope in.
Is there a possibility theres a multiplier you haven't found that could affect it?

Perhaps, but it's a rather obscure variation.

Yeah...the PTRS sure seems to take longer than the garand. I don't use the Mosin (I use the Kar98k because the bolt opperation animation is less annoying for me). But the PTRS seems slower than both.
Maybe the animations are different...maybe you can start to see through the scope sooner with some rifles although they're not completely scoped yet? If you watch the animation in slow motion...you can start to see through the scope before the scope is completely up. Maybe this is different for different rifles.
It could be an illusion though. You run slower with the PTRS, and the run animation is designed to make it feel like a large, cumberson weapon. This may factor into making us believe it takes longer to sight it when it doesn't.
