Any way to rename files and get rid of the ambient sounds?

I remember in cod4 you could rename the miles folder.

With all these random noises going on sounding as if people are spawning right behind you I was curious if anyone found any way to rename some of the audio file names to remove the ambient noises.

I have no idea, but if you can figure out a way to get rid of the irritating panting that your character does for the rest of the game after sprinting even once (regardless of whether you have mountain IV) do let us know.
