I've read two articles both contradicting each other. Does anyone know if the new MW will have a projectile system in every game mode? Or will they be sticking to classic hitscan outside of the massive maps?
All of the YouTubers and e-celebs have been saying that the developers specifically told them that all weapons are non-hitscan. Makes me a little worried that that might make the game feel a little less crisp, especially since we're going back to very fast TTKs.

Projectiles feel great in a Dev (local) environment.
Then you add in real world lag and packet loss and they feel like trash.
It seems like a never ending cycle in shooters. All of the big names do it. Start with hitscan because it's easy. Then switch to projectiles cause it's more realistic. Then switch back to hitscan because it feels way better. Then forget how bad projectiles felt and try again. Repeat.
Marvel4: "The random direction scale view kick"

probaddie: Yeah. And the direction your point of aim is kicked in is exactly the compass direction from which you were shot. Total deflection in degrees is damage * bg_viewKickScale. The time to recover (no matter the amount of kick) is 0.5 seconds.
