The game feels completely different now, like some mashup between Plunder and Battle Royale. It's absolute chaos, toooons of action and nonstop aggression, almost no slow or campy moments. I quite like it to be honest, but Jailbreak letting completely wiped squads back in (who happen to still be spectating) is really dumb. It should only spawn back in dead members of teams that are still alive in the game. The other two events are cool, getting a VSAT basically for free whenever firesale pops off is great. And the escort-to-da-chopper contract gives a TON of money. My squad is regularly running around with $100k+ now, you can't spend it fast enough. Buy stations have become nutty hotspots.

The supply copters in solo are annoying because no one shoots them down, and they just fly around endlessly.

Yeah, I played one game with them... eventually towards the end the one by me had taken enough damage to go down... finally... but then it was completely impossible to loot it anyway. Other than that they are just loud and obnoxious. They gave solo mode zero attention, it could have been a lot better.

Honestly, this game clearly wasn't designed around solo's, and they probably knew it wasn't going to be as good as squad modes. That's probably why they didn't release with it. The TTK is just too low for it to be any sort of an enjoyable experience. It's just there now because some players like to play solo, but I can understand how it isn't their primary focus. The only "good" solo experience I have had in a BR was in fortnite, because you could actually do something when you were getting lasered in the middle of an open field.

Here’s my latest classes:
Bruen: Mono suppressor, Tac laser, cronen mini optic, commando Foregrip, 60 round mags
Grau: mono suppressor, archangel barrel, Tac laser, commando Foregrip, 50 round mags
Fennec: vlk Sabre, no stock, merc Foregrip, 40 rounds, sleight of hand
M4: mono suppressor, m16 barrel, commando/Merc foregrip, 60 rounds, fully loaded
EoD, Ghost, Amped. C4 and Stun. I would use heartbeat if I primarily played solos
I get the Bruen first, Fennec second. I’ll usually have a floor mp7 till the second loadout. The m4 is when I win the gulag and drop on the last loadout during the 5th circle.

Here is my 5 current ones:
SMG: Fennec with Sabre, Apex barrel, No stock, 40 rounds, Stippled ShortAR: Ram with Mono, Longest barrel, Tac laser, Commando, 50 rounds LongAR: Kilo with Mono, Longest barrel, VLK 3x, Commando, 60 rounds LMG: Bruen with Mono, Longest barrel, Tac laser, VLK 3x, 60 rounds Sniper: HDR with Mono, Longest barrel, Tac laser, ADS stock, (something I don't remember).
The theme in all my weapons is the fact their recoil pattern is all to the left, although some more than others. They are also not extremely Meta which I like.
I am thinking about giving the PKM another try (Mono, Barrel, Tac laser, VLK 3x, Snatch grip), on paper it is better than the Bruen once you have an SMG to run around with. The ADS speed and long range damage is so much better, while the movement speed doesn't really matter that much since you have an SMG. It does have a little bit more recoil than Bruen though (and it isn't to the left).
Another thing I want to try, is a RAM + LMG setup. I always pick LongAR/LMG + SMG or ShortAR + Sniper, in that order. I am afraid for the ammo, but having a RAM + PKM would give me close to 400 ammo to work with, that should honestly be plenty.
The last thing I might try is replacing the RAM with the Galil, but Ram is my baby.... The Galil might do everything the RAM does but better though...
For a Gulach class, I am not sure yet. I tend to switch my loadout 10 on the fly into some sort of Gulach class. I almost never use it though, I prefer to have a perfect class with little ammo over a bad class with a lot of ammo.

Traded out the fennec for the mp5 again, fennec needs an even bigger mag:
Mono integral barrel, ftac collapsible stock, merc Foregrip, 45 rounds, sleight of hand

Definitely not something they designed around. It's a shame, as it's the only mode I play. Blackout gave it a little more attention I feel like. I still don't understand for instance why they permanently removed helicopters from it. If it's the cheese factor of people flying around in it until final circle...honestly it is cheesier (and easier) to drive around in a trophy system truck than fly around in a helicopter the whole match. In the truck you can actually kill people and it's way harder to take out than the wimply helicopter flying around where everyone can see it.

I've shifted my own meta now too, everything I wrote before about RPGs isn't that great anymore. Everyone has EOD, all vehicles get trophied, I just don't place much value in running them anymore. I either run: long-range AR (Grau or M13) with an MP5, or a mid-range AR (M4 or RAM) with a sniper. The Grau and MP5 are still great top-tier picks even after the nerfs. The Grau is just a bit weaker in those mid-range battles now, but it's still a laserbeam. MP5 feels like nothing changed, just swap out no stock for stippled or something (no stock got a big nerf).

Update on my classes:
Shotgun: O12 with mono, precision, 5 mw, no stock, 12 rounds SMG: MP5 with integral mono, 5 mw, merc, 45 rounds, SoH ShortAR: Ram with Mono, 5 mw, ADS stock Merc, 50 rounds LongAR: Ram with Mono, Longest barrel, VLK 3x, Commando, 50 rounds LMG: PKM with Mono, Longest barrel, Tac laser, VLK 3x, Snatch grip Sniper: HDR with Mono, Longest barrel, Tac laser, ADS stock, 7 rounds.
Biggest changes: MP5 is back. Fennec has simply too many drawbacks. The same TTK but worse bullet efficiency and mobility. No idea why I didn't try this earlier, but the RAM is absolutely fine in a longer range build. I was trying to find an AR that feels like the RAM in the kilo, but the ram itself just needs some burst fire at really long range. O12 is back. Already liked it before the snakes came out, but never went back. Still think the MP5 is a far better weapon, but the long range RAM + O12 is a really solid somewhat off meta build. PKM instead of Bruen. I think the bruen was overhyped. Sure it was and still is a very good weapon. PKM was already just as strong as the bruen imho, especially when paired with an SMG, since its only drawback is movement speed.
People underestimate the effect of confirmation bias. Once 30% of the player base uses the same weapon, people start to use it because they get killed by it, then they start to learn the recoil pattern, because thats the weapon they always use, which makes the weapon even more potent, so more people get killed by it and jump on the bandwagon, at that point the circle continues and intensifies. Then people start to complain they only get killed by weapon x, and that weapon x is too strong. The weapon sure as hell is very prevalent, but it isn't too strong perse.

Currently loving the AMAX. Vertical recoil pattern that is controllable and/or mitigated by merc foregrip. High damage, fast TTK. On paper the fastest killing AR at most ranges. If you mount it is a laser out to ridiculous ranges.
I love the O12 but I get annoyed with how dramatically its damage falls off a cliff outside point blank ranges.
I still love carrying the RPG as a secondary. Clears window campers, clears firestation towers, and even vs. EOD people it forces them to move if you're in tree v tree or rock v rock combat.
For sniping I love the Kar98 as I generally only want to snipe when its near final circle and the distance is not very long, and everyone is peeking from behind their little rock or fence or tree or whatever. The current groundloot green Kar is perfectly adequate and has saved me a few times getting caught out in the open but landing the headshot.
I really want to switch over to using stuns rather than an HB sensor but it'a hard giving up the warm and fuzzy feeling I have when I have my baby monitor. I want to switch late in the game but I rarely have the chance to unless I kill someone with a stun or have a chance to get the 2nd free loadout drop.

For me WARZONE is the most boring COD experience ever. Nothing happens there, minute after minute, and suddenly you die.
It is only fun to watch cool youtube "content-creators" who deliver some "interesting to watch" "film-style" videos to adveritse that pos ...
I suppose 99.9% of Warzone players never ever won any game. If it were not for free - noone would pay for it.
I play 10vs10 MP core only (SBMM less painful than in 6vs6 so I can have a beer in the meantime and no Picadilly in map rotation) and sometimes a dedicated playlist if I like the map.
I cannot wait Cold War is live, as most tryhards will migrate there and MW might be more casual.

Interesting point actually. Alternatively it could be even sweatier, as the number of casuals decline and youre pitted against people who have rinsed the game out since launch It won't. All "dedicated" tryhards unlocked Damascus camo months ago and they have not much to do in MW. Thay cannot wait to play CW. (they might play Warzone/Cold War with Treyarch weapons, but not MW MP...) * Obsidian looks bad, weapon details not visible, just a black hole on your screen and noone cares. People who grind camos since 12 months - if they stay or leave - it does not matter - MW will be playable for a couple of years anyway. All "influential" youtubers will push playerbase to Cold War, completely "unintentionally", to increase Activision's revenues. Casuals do not follow their YT channels ... Why should they do?
