I don't typically use cold blooded.
What do you guys use? What are some of the better Cold Blooded & Silenced weapons and how many shots to kill?
I never use LMGs but I was thinking of the following
AUG + Silenced + Grip Bling CB Ninja
Is this a 3 hit kill at any range?

Might as well go with the RPD if you are going to use those attachments. Accuracy should be about the same but you'll have a much higher ammo capacity.

You mean the care package commando knifers? Bling 1887s work very well.

Akimbo Rangers are probably the best way to go. They shoot really fast, and are pretty much 100% OHKO at Commando range.

The UMP, ACR, and SCAR are about the best guns to go CB, IMO. All are equally great to silence as well.
UMP/ACR/SCAR, silenced Stinger XXX XXX Scavenger Cold-Blooded XXX
And you're golden. Coincidentally, these are also brilliant classes regardless of glitchers.

The infinite care package has already been patched away on PC, but to root out an enemy encampment...
Like those who discreetly kill for a nuke, they usually have allies guarding them. The same is often true for the infinite Care Package, especially since those extra guys can "Share Package". Unlike nuke guys, the care package guys need to be out in the open and the stream of littlebirds in the air reveals their location quite clearly.
Cold-Blooded for the initial approach, with someone who has perfected the care package routine, they are sure to get loads of UAV coverage.
Ninja to get real close, just in case those guards are extra cautious with a Sensor and/or SitRep Pro.
A decisively powerful weapon, the fewer shots needed, the better. Silence doesn't matter much with this paranoid lot; the moment you start shooting, anyone else around will be on alert. Something with 40 damage would be desirable.
Flash grenades. The average size of this group is three together. Taking out one or two of them will lead to defensive entrance watching. Probe those corners with flash hit indicators.
Finally, wait for the patch.

To combat them most of the team should attack them directly. But given the fact they will be waiting for you i would suggest this class: XXX Stingers OMA Cold Blooded Ninja With this setup you can post up somewhere out of harms way and just constantly shoot down their ill-gotten killstreaks. Do it right and you will single handedly rain on their parade... plus you will get alot of EXP. Its nice to hear that it is already patched on PC... but knowing Microsoft it will probably be at least a week.

Stingers OMACold Blooded Ninja Uhh, OMA means no stingers, unfortunately Though Scavenger + Launcher + (CB or decent cover) is just as good (if you can find a sea of corpses anywhere), nice xp if you just shoot down the rewards; bear in mind that care packages => lots of UAV's, which can be shot down with primary weaps. I'd just farm some xp off the killstreak rewards and then leave the lobby after the map. Though, with people tactical loitering in an open air space, see if you can get LoS for Danger Close + Javelin => epic lulz

I find the best counter is the noob tube, which is entirely justified if they're using the care package glitch. Whatever AR you want to level up, tube, OMA, danger close (maybe CB) ninja. You can easily take people out from long range in a sea of packages.

I find the best counter is the Skill Cannon, which is entirely justified if they're using the care package glitch. Whatever AR you want to level up, tube, OMA, danger close (maybe CB) ninja. You can easily take people out from long range in a sea of packages. This. AR (I prefer the TAR or the ACR) w/ Tube OMA (to reload the tube) Cold Blooded (immunity to the air support) (3rd slot is personal preference, I'd roll with Ninja for super-stealth). For your secondary grenades, any of the three will work. Flashes and Stuns are best for rooting people out, but Smokes are best for freaking people out. Toss a smoke on the care packages just to mess with the other team's heads. For your equipment, again, anything will work, although Semtexes will probably work best. They're good for sticking places that your t00b can't reach. Mostly, just figure out where they're dropping and rain grenades down on them.

I'd just like to note that I've been running into these glitchers on a frequent basis. This needs to get patched, quickly. Hope that patch arrives before the week is up.
Damn, how many times have we all thought this really needs to get patched?

As of three days ago I hadn't noticed this in a single game, yesterday I could barely play a game without some tool doing this. Best kit?
-any gun- stingers semtex smoke scavanger coldblooded -whatever perk 3 makes you happy inside-
if you can't use scavange to replenish your stingers, semtex yourself to fill up. Just as the game is coming to a close(and you've peed on their parade long enough) dashboard out to save the hit to your KDR. If you really want to tick them off, go to recent players, select the glitcher and try to rejoin his game, and start the hilarity all over again.

Does Ninja Pro really matter? Most people don't seem to be using HBS as much as they used to, and with the killstreaks up, footsteps become considerably much harder to hear.

I've been running a UMP cold blooded class with Sitrep to try to finally get that to pro (now lvl 70 and probably still 40 away), and I get killed by someone with a HBS not every game, but often enough that I really need to make a second class where Perk 3 is the only difference.

I use SitRep Pro on every class except one or two. JUST in case I need to go Ninja to avoid the HBS that some folks might be using.

The best is to be as stealthy as possible. The idea is to infiltrate their little encampment and steal as many of their packages as possible. At least that's what I try and do.

It has become outright impossible to play any game type on the ps3 console without having a care package glitcher on both yours and the opponents team.... its fucking terrible
anyways im using
UMP45 w/ holo and silencer G18 w/ akimbo and silencer claymore and flash bling pro cold blooded pro ninja pro
the reason for no stingers is because if you waste your time shooting shit down, youll find yourself racking up deaths. Its best to just mind your business and stay indoors.

I'd love to know when the PS3 patch is going to be released. I'm not even logging into MW2 until they put it out.
