I've started using the G36C with irons sights and I've gotten used to them now. I think the best setup for the G36C is Ext. Mags + Silencer. You now don't need scavenger for extra ammo or sleight of hand because you won't have to reload as often. Opens up the slot for Blind Eye.

G36C Silencer + Ex Mags is my combo. Perhaps with Kick it is fine against dropshotters and such, but then I should be using an ACR.
Just noticed Lexapro covered that already.

Lexapro & asasa: I can see the rationale behind G36C w/Silencer+EM: silencer for stealth (which is a must have for many players to use AR aggressively), EM to solve ammo problem. The main advantage it has over silenced ACR is more power from faster fire rate. This setup does have high demands on player's skills of aim tracking and recoil management through burst firing. For players who have full confidence in these aspects, this is a good choice. My setup of Kick+RDS is a suggestion for bros who have the impressions that ACR is significantly better than G36C. By relying on kick to solve the recoil issue and RDS to solve the iron issue, the negatives of the weapon are minimized so its strengths can truly shine. It is my belief that anybody who plays this setup side by side with his favorite auto AR loadout would agree with my assessment of G36C is the auto AR with the most power. slowriot: the point of Kick for G36C is to eliminate the violent upward jump that happens at random, similar to how Focus eliminate the violent upward jump when being shot. IMHO Kick has bigger return on investment as it is useful for any encounter, while Focus is only useful when being shot. Of course, if you can effectively manage G36C's recoil (e.g.: having mastered the burst firing technique), I can see how you find Focus more useful for you personally. As the weapon's recoil kick is under your own control, while flinch caused by Focus is not.

The ACR is still better because it's more consistent. An RPM advantage of 50 means nothing. All it means is that after 1 second of shooting, you'll have fired 1 extra bullet. Compare this to the advantage recoil, anticipation, and lag give you and you'll see it means nothing. In addition kick doesn't help that much. If the gun experiences it's maximum recoil, you'll still go off target.
I've gotten 250 HS/2500 kills with both and the ACR is by far the easiest gun to use. With the exception of long range, the guy I shoot will die as long as I keep my sights on him. If I miss the first 10 bullets and drag my sights back on target, he'll die. There are never any situations where recoil screwed me over. With the G36 roughly 9/10 kills have some sort of complication where my TTK was drastically reduced.

It's interesting to notice that how a MK14 thread turned into yet another G36C discussion :-) G36C and MK14 are semi autos
