Lol, I think that's hieroglyphics for "magazine not clip".

Fine. Have it your way ratey.
Point being: A clip is an instrument used to hold objects; clipping them together. A magazine is a container (meant to be) filled with objects.
It's like calling the TV "a radio" or calling a grenade "a gun".

What if the weapon's magazine was always filled 75% of the way after all this time? The extended clip attachment just fills the magazine all the way, and the devs didn't have to make the clip/magazine look physically longer?

That makes way too much sense, Keanu.

I blame Doom 1 for these shenanigans.

the obvious difference being that when a person says clip you should know what theyre talking about. I suppose that's pretty harmless in itself, but the problem is that there's a lot of misinformation and incorrect terminology going on around the anti-gun side-for example, thinking semi-automatic weapons are full auto without realizing that this is the fire mode utilized by nearly every modern self-defense handgun. And then there is this (it's not just the "magazine clips").

Here in Jötunheim it's accepted as bullet box.

only good things labeled as pistols that cod ever had were the kap and the cod4 deagle You forgot the Five Seven and Tac-45. They're good if matches are smooth.

Pistols are fine. They're perfect. No more MW style machine pistols outclassing primaries. ... Kap40? B23R? ... Like... 2/5ths of the pistol outgun SMGs on short range. 57 outguns snipers on long range.

Except, if half of everyone calls the TV a radio -- you'd know what they meant too.
