IW should have given MTARX .25 ADS time instead of VEPR. >_>
More of a reason not to use default scopes on Marksmen rifles. A shame the thermal scope's ADS is .38 on them too.

So Lynx with ACOG > Marksman rifle with default scope.

So now there's a proof that IS is a must-have attachment for any MR (or for those having good and clear IS – MR-28 and MK14 EBR). Thanks again, Marvel.

So does the Thermal Scope reduce the ADS time for the Lynx and VKS?

I thought we were talking about just "better" and not fun/boring? If we're talking about fun, then use the chainsaw steady aim agility amd marathon. Run around like you're running from the cops.

If you're choosing between iron sights and rds/eotech at the same cost, I would pick rds/eotech 99% of the time.
Thermals look very nice on the lynx/vks, especially the hybrid for CQC/QS moments.
I don't remember if LMGs get tracker sight but that could be a very nice attachment if so, bringing ads time down to AR level before quickdraw.

I was hoping irons had faster ADS for DMRs. Oh well.

They do actually, I was just using M27 with TS a minute ago. The tracker sight itself is hard to get used to but you can use the irons on it no problem. The higher FoV is also strange lol.

Wtf really? Hold on let me delete my post and go to the psych ward.
Before I go: tracker sight stalker movement sway makes it unusable.

So does the Thermal Scope reduce the ADS time for the Lynx and VKS? I asked marvel (via probaddie) on the irc a little while ago. The answer is apparently yes, and Lynx is apparently best sniper for anyone using a high mobility secondary.

So, this stuff is kinda confusing.... which value has priority? the sight or the gun?
LMGs: 0.38 LMGs (Iron Sights): 0.35
This seems to assume that all attachments other than irons have 0.38?
I guess after reading aids3 reply, the attachment has priority over the gun?
So what is the 'LMGs: 0.38 value used for?' red dot sight and every sight which is not an iron sight and not on the list?
I.E. LMG with tracker sight is a bawsz?

I just don't use any sight in CoD games until there's a special challenge for it I really want to complete. EOTech is too obstructive for me, RDS…that's too easy, you can take MTAR-X or Honey Badger (or MSBS) and "play" with them instead. I thought we were talking about just "better" and not fun/boring? If we're talking about fun, then use the chainsaw steady aim agility amd marathon. Run around like you're running from the cops. Chain SAW is my second most used gun (using it without Steady Aim, Agility and Marathon is like…is like playing with MP5K w/ ACOG and Rapid Fire in MW2), although I play very rare.

So I can get an ADS speed increase by using a RDS on the Vepr? Neat.

Which is a shame because that gun has the best irons in the SMG family

So RDS is again the best sight. And I thout VMR would be nice, but with that ADS times... Now I know why I couldn't play AR's without QD because it felt ads'ing took forever.
For Quickdraw: 1/3 is a 0.6666..7 Multiplier, So 0.3 (AR) becomes 0.2 (smg) ads speed. SMG become 0.1333... (waste of 3 points imho). Sniper (1/5) get a 0.8 multiplier and go from 0.4 to 0.32 and 0.45 changes to 0.36. LMG's go down from 0.38 to 0.25333 (pretty nice) or with Iron Sights to 0.23333 (even better)

So this means that the advantage of the faster scope time for the Snipers using ACOG/Thermal do not apply to the USR/L115? Or is there a percentage decrease in ADS no matter the Sniper used?

When using the weapon comparison feature on Symthic, I noticed that it claims 0.25 ADS for SMGs with RF attachment. Is that true?
EDIT: I was mistaken. I was comparing Vepr with the others and Vepr has a built in 0.25 ADS time.

So for marksman rifles is it only the default scope that has slower ads? Or is it just the Iron Sight attachment that gives you faster ads?
