Ok, I was wondering what console all of you guys are using, I'd like to get a team together to do the mannequin secret on Nuketown.
If you haven't heard of this secret, it's mentioned in the 1 hour gamespot multiplayer review, apparently shooting all of the heads of the mannequins in an extremely fast time causes a major secret to occur, there are no videos of this up anywhere yet.
I'm on xbox.
First thing we need to do to achieve this is to mark all of the mannequin locations on a map of nuketown. We'll then get a lobby going with as many people as possible and designate mannequins to each person, possibly more than 1 mannequin per person.
I'm real interested in seeing what this is first hand, the closest thing to plausible I've seen about it so far is a sevensins thread that says it starts a secret zombies gametype. If anyone has capture cards we can record it too and be the first to get it onto the tubes.
EDIT (+3) We're going to need 12 people to pull this off. If you have friends that are up for this then please get them to view this thread, read my map and notes, understand as much as possible about the mannequins before we attempt this and make a note of their sign up here.
When we've got a full sign up I think the basic format for us to do this would be to wander the map for a bit first and spot as many mannequins as possible, we'll assign each person to a different map area and then all hell will break loose as we go crazy. I'm going to aim to do this for around 12pmAM(Midnight) GMT+0, weekday or weekend dependant on what's best for people, this way it allows Americans and Europeans to both do this.
If you sign up, please keep an eye on this thread daily.

If you shoot all the mannequin heads really fast then you get an achievement:
Stealth Clown: Neutralise Robert Bowling's favorite tactical loitering spot (1337G)

A recent post on demonoid states that you unlock a new emblem from doing it, a spinning skull.
Doesn't fit in with the editor in my opinion, there was no evidence posted either. It states that it has to be done in under 20 seconds.
I'm working on a map of mannequins right now.

Okay, I've come across a massive technical hitch. This must be a pretty big secret. The mannequins on the map are NOT static, I made a full map of mannequins, I then went into a new match to double check my map and half of the mannequins are in completely different locations, this stops us from pre planning this. Needless to say, this is going to be a difficult task. Here's my map, it's pretty useless in terms of planning but there's a few things people need to learn, man of the mannequins appear outside of the map. There's also a very sneaky mannequin that appear in the second floor window of Woods' house. Marked on map. Map key: Red = Mannequins in areas players can get to. White = Mannequins in areas players can not get to. Green = Woods House (as marked by name on mail box) Pink = Mason House (as marked by name on mail box) Extra notes: Mason House Downstairs NOPE 3 Upstairs Office 3 Bedroom 3 Woods House Downstairs Living Room 1 NOPE 2 Upstairs Office 2 Bedroom 2 Bus 6 The yellow dot is a false positive when I was searching, couldn't be bothered to fix it so I just changed the colour. Click here for my map: i.imgur.com/KVZgs.jpgAll in all, this is NOT going to be an easy egg to unlock. For those of you that haven't seen Treyarch speak of this egg, watch this, skip back to 17:25 after it starts, for some reason the link doesn't start at the right time. We're going to need 12 people to pull this off. If you have friends that are up for this then please get them to view this thread, read my map and notes, understand as much as possible about the mannequins before we attempt this and make a note of their sign up here. Good to have you on board jim.
I'm sure I've heard that in Star Trek or something.
8 places left.
EDIT: Will be awesome if someone here has a capture card, we'll all have the game for theatre but getting it online first would be excellent.
Crap, what that should say is 12am (midnight) GMT+0 Yes that's 6pm Central.

Added amc and Panacheful. If you can confirm GTs of people you'll be bringing that would be great amc. 4 places left, maybe 3. Reserving 1 place for a capture carder, just waiting to confirm him.

skitrel, I won't be able to make 12am GMT (7:00pm EST) tonight (Thurs). Unless it can be bumped up 2 hours ahead or later tonight, or you plan to do it tomorrow @ 12am GMT, I'll bow out.

It's ok Bob, still haven't confirmed a full team yet and I intend to get in touch with everyone a full 24hours beforehand to ensure no noshows. At the moment my goal is Saturday evening/night. 6pm central, 12am(midnight) GMT. That's open to change depending on the situation though, it's just a target. My capture card potential hasn't got back to me yet either, if anyone here knows someone out there that can do this for us please get him on here Or if anyone here already uses a capture card I can open the reserved spot. 2 more places remaining. (1 reserved for capture card user)

I'd be more than happy to help out. Live GT: TempestTantrum I have a mediocre capture card, Dazzle DVC 100, and usually record in Pinnacle Studio 12. Anything more than that I haven't gotten into yet - I have Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 from a buddy but I have no idea how to use it. I'd be recording the session regardless though.

Like I said, I'll be capturing, but from the theater, not the live game, because my computer is in a different room than the xbox. I have a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle so quality will be fine.

Awesome sauce, so we have 3 capture carders. I have no problems with all 3 of you putting it on youtube, so long as you mention that it's The Den Kirson Team, I want to give some credit to Den for bringing us together, might give the forums a bit of a boost too. As I said before, I'm aiming for 12am GMT 0 (midnight) on Saturday night/Sunday morning. That's 6pm central I believe. Everyone keep your schedules free! I'll be adding you all tomorrow, I'll make sure to make a note of who I am in the add don't worry. I'll also make sure to remind everyone in those adds of the planned time. If you can confirm here too it would be doubly good for my peace of mind. I haven't organised anything like this before Look forwards to playing with all of you!

Sweet stuff. Of course I'd give credit to the awesome den team.. been browsing through this forum for years and had to finally post just to be part of this haha Hah, awesome. I like it, I'm pretty sure there are tonnes of lurkers here, it seems like the majority of cod weapon stats across the internet seem to all cite Den Kirson as their original source. Den's providing a great service to gamers everywhere I'm going to add all of you today, if there's chance I'm going to try and get everyone together tonight for it, I've seen a couple of posts on other forums saying that there's a hidden mannequin in the mountains as well, I don't know if this is true though. If someone could confirm or deny this that would be great, I can't get on right now. You'll have to load up 3 or 4 games at least to be certain because of the random mannequin placement. As a basic strategy I'm thinking 1 person upstairs and downstairs in each house. 3 people in center (because of the bus mannequins - possibly a driver in truck? Unconfirmed) 1 person covering the large outside of map area that spawns mannequins (near center) 2 people in each garden. If anyone thinks there's a more efficient distribution of people then I'm open to suggestion, on this distribution the people in the houses and the person aiming for the center outside of map mannequins are going to have about four each while the others get 2 or 3, there may be a better layout. People in gardens may also have 1 each outside of map to shoot, by the water sprinklers and washing lines. And that 1 pain in the ass I spotted on second floor window. Obviously this is all open to change dependant on the random spawning. We'll do a walk around and assign mannequins to everyone. It'd be great if people good jump in theatre and have their own look around the map to get a strong idea of things before we go ahead, it may also throw up new potentially hidden mannequins.

w0odyallen, I assume you made an error typing your GT here, it has a space in it right? I worked it out but you need to be careful of that EDIT: Same problem with Tempest Tantrum, if you guys could reconfirm your GTs for me that would be great.

Just a heads up.
According to mp_nuked.gsc, there are apparently 28 mannequins.

That's weird, are you sure Den?
According to my original findings when I made my map, I found 45. That's 9 in house one, 6 on bus + 7 in house two then adding up all the ones shown on my map.
Could that be showing that there are 28 different models for mannequins?
EDIT: I'd appreciate it if everyone bought C4 in advance, I think it'll speed things up, explosives will be our first attempts and should be the fastest method, it'll free up people for some of the awkward ones too.
So, 2 C4 in the bus, C4 on the house mannequins and C4 on any other mannequins that we still have left over. This will free up 5 or 6 people and should drop the total number to shoot down to 1 or 2 per person.
I estimate we ought to be able to nail every mannequin in under 5 seconds this way.
Apparently (though I haven't confirmed it) the mannequin heads all respawn when they've all been shot off, this will make life easier for us as we'll be able to retry repeatedly without restarting the game, we'll also know when we've found all of them.
