Concerning the improved center speed on the Dragunov with the acog and IR scope.. I just tried it on the Wii version(that's the version I own), and I don't see a difference whatsoever compared to Drag with regular scope.
I'm assuming this works on PC version, but has anyone actually tried it for themselves... and on the PS3/360 versions also?

Ishbane, did you actually test this yourself, or you just ripped it from the game?
Hmm I wonder if this is for the PC version only... Or if Treyarch secretly patched it up early on.

I'm assuming all of these stats were ripped from the files of the PC version (since the versions for other platforms are a bit harder to get the files for). I've tested the SVD with IR on the PC, and the center speed is DEFINITELY a lot higher (read: SVD barely kicks with IR). Haven't bothered with the ACOG yet, though.
Discrepancies between PC and console versions have existed in the past (especially with Treyarch), so it's not out of the realm of possibility that the stats would be slightly different on console. We'll just have to wait for someone to get a good rip of the Xbox, PS3, and Wii stats before we can fully understand what those differences are.

I tried with acog a while back on ps3 and there was still noticeable recoil. Haven't compared with IR and reg scope, though.

All stats are straight out of the filesof the PC version. Besides, who'd want to play an FPS on any other platform than a PC?

I don't get why the hell they would take this out of the console versions. ughh

Can anyone confirm now if IR scope on M16, improves its center speed, on console versions?

ishbane, you should make a note about the Dragunov centre speed change only being on the PC version.

According to some board members of Gamefaqs, as well as CoD Wiki... Apparently Commando with RDS attachment reduces recoil.
Can anyone confirm this?

And 1000 HipCenterSpeed. What do you mean hip center speed? Are you talking about center speed while hip firing? I haven't really noticed a difference, because that was the first and main thing I tested on with the drag... on the Wii version.

There is CenterSpeed for both ADS and Hip states. All weapons have the same numbers for both states (and attachments change both) except for... the Dragunov, which is always 1000 at the hip and 500 ADS.

LOL, and all that talk about the Dragunov with IR scope supposedly unbalancing the Sniper Rifles. *snickers*

I swear, it did feel like it had a higher centerspeed with the IR... then again, maybe I was just high that day.

Is there a flat rate at which dual mags reduces the reload time? It kind of seems all over the place for the ARs.

I swear, it did feel like it had a higher centerspeed with the IR... then again, maybe I was just high that day. Totally placebo, like those supposed stutter-fixes. I have to admit, i felt that way too... Is there a flat rate at which dual mags reduces the reload time? It kind of seems all over the place for the ARs. Since no weapon accepts dual mags and dual wield at the same time, i added the dual mags reload time in the same color as dual wield.

I understand that part. I was referring strictly to the ARs. For example look at the AK, FAL and Commando:
FAL reload = 2.5 | 1.6 -> 36% reduction AK reload = 2.5 | 1.75 -> 30% reduction Commando reload = 2.05 | 1.7 -> 17% reduction
Is there not a flat rate in which AR dual mags reduce the reload time

I gotta be honest with ya, I prefer the Dragunov's crosshairs. Always found those excellent for quick shooting for some reason. Not sure why, but it just works.

Anyone can explain why wa2000 + acog has completely NO RECOIL at all? Recoil and centerspeed is the same for both (on the pc).

It's probably just a visual effect. The gun seems to kick less when you have less zoom, and since the WA2000 barely has any kick to begin with, when you lower the zoom with the ACOG, it seems to have almost no kick. Rest assured, the kick is still there.

Probably for the first 15 seconds of the video. All the subsequent shots with wa2000 later on do not have any kick (at least to my eyes).

Yes, as I posted in the video, you can clearly see recoil at 1:58 for example.
