I am not 100% sure, unfortunatelly.
I was doing some tests in Nov-Dec 2011 and estimated ACR and G36C rof arr 700-750 rpm, I cannot remember now. After 1-2 months I tested them again and I was really surprised to find their ROF well below 700 ... Maybe I am wrong...

What? It doesn't fire faster in that video and the ACRs rate of fire was never patched...

[1.9.433] KSG 12: ROF = 60 rpm, consistent 2-round burst with 1.000 sec delays. 2-round bursts not possible with 0.990 delays, cap = 61 rpm [1.9.433] SPAS-12: ROF = 63 rpm, consistent 2-round burst with 0.940 sec delays. 2-round bursts not possible with 0.930 delays, cap = 64 rpm [1.9.433] AA-12: ROF = 405 rpm, consistent 2-round burst with 0.148 sec delays. [1.9.433] Striker: ROF = 333 rpm, consistent 2-round burst with 0.180 sec delays. 2-round bursts possible with 0.175 delays, but inconsistent, ROF = 342 rpm [1.9.433] Model 1887: ROF = 59 rpm, consistent 2-round burst with 1.010 sec delays. 2-round bursts not possible with 1.000 delays, cap = 60 rpm ------------------------------ and for comparison, Dragunov pre and after buff .. [1.9.433] Dragunov+Kick+ACOG, full auto mode, 1000, 666 and 500 rpm. [1.5.387] Dragunov+Kick+ACOG, before patch, full auto mode, 1000, 666 and 500 rpm.

MP5 Real= 782 GameFiles= 895 Difference (%)= -12.6%
MP5+RF Real= 1087 GameFiles= 1119 Difference (%)= -2.86%

PS3 here and my MP5 NEVER ran out of bullets so quickly. And recoil sucks more.

Previous post's content deleted, charts might be more usefull: Fred was right, on XBOX ACR "on the average" is "something like 630" rpm, What is more funny: on consoles it is better to have a bit lower fps to have higher ACR's ROF.... (if my calculations are 100% reliable ofc.) ROF(theoretical incl. framerate) : weapon fires when the frame “is ready”. With different framerates weapon fires in different times and has different ROF. ROF(GameFiles) = hotizontal line taken from game files. Rounding time /precision/ is very important and influences results… ACR on XBOX: ACR on PC, my tests in 91 fps area ACR, all platforms:

G36C On XBOX. Fred estimated G36C ROF: 733 rpm, looks ok, in fact 720 rpm.

Hello MW3 players who lurk here! in dat sea of BO2 threads ... there is a lonely island where MW3 is still ALIVE! I wanted to do those charts long ago, sorry, lack of time. Below: all full auto assault rifles, ROF include framerate. Separating guns we obtain: Below: G36C, SCAR-L and ACR: Below: FAD vs M4A1. On consoles if framerate unstable…. They look identical ... sometimes. Below: AK-47 vs CM901. Both weapons have almost identical ROF in practice on consoles. on consoles: at exactly 4 framerates AK-47 has better ROF than CM901 (count orange dots when fps <= 60)

the reason this thread fails is the following. FRAPS records every frame. a Hauppauge or avermedia will not do so reliably. 1) the game can hit-scan every weapon, every frame. 2) the game can visually show the weapon firing every frame and drop all other frames. we dont use console ROF numbers because its more difficult to discern what is happening and the margin of error grows. you also get into gross amounts of input and display lag on the whole. especially PS3, which tends to run COD even worse (and has even more control input lag with it's extremely slow 100htz controller polling rate). on PC you can run much higher refresh rates displaying much higher frame rates, lock them and enable the FPS counter. then infallibly frame capture every frame and do practical counts. on Console, you've got nothing. you can easily hack a singleplayer gamestate to show the FPS counter, but at best that's it. at worst, all you can do is JTAG or RGH an xbox 360 to enable the FPS counter in multiplayer (goodluck with that). So you're stuck with SP weapons (which we all know is a bad idea trying to infer MP weapon stats from SP weapon copies) I can pull out a hacked W@W disk, load up a 1200rpm PPSH (which itself at the time many claimed console couldn't display) then apply double tap (via normal DT root beer), then use the hacked ISO to stack doubletap on the player AGAIN. i know, hell i've done it in the past and posted the video here... so when people on console give weapon stats. it's quick and dirty. no accuracy is generally implied or taken. most people simply hit the trigger with a stopwatch (which any drummer will wince at) and that's good enough for a general idea. A for effort, but no. if you want a fun PC project that's very helpful, cut any one of the auto-aim/auto-melee/assist systems on with a pixel width of 1x1 and then enable its debugger so it shows everyone the point of aim on all the weapons

MP7 has more sway than recoil lol it seriously does, and rf only makes recoil noticable at a range, e.g from mission white truck, directly over the bridge and to the left, at that point you have to burst fire. I go full auto on bakaara's longest LoS, sniping balcony tactical loitering noob from the other side of the map regularly, even with RF the recoil only get out of hand after 10-15 shots. MP7 sucks in BO2 though... The recoil is not nearly as predictable.
