They didn't finish it with the recent dlc release, so we're just SOL I suppose.

I'm a let you finsish shotgun users, but ARs and SMGs are the most underpowered guns of all time. OF ALL TIME.

Agreed, the mp7 should shoot heat seaking suicide great white sharks witheye lasers that are literally loaded with c4 and have mini chainsaws for teeth. That doesn't seem like enough so lets do 1000 round clips at 3000 rpm. That seems about right.

Sharks with lasers would be cool as shit even if it's obviously OP. I'd support that patch.

Not at 3000 rpm. Thats only 20 continuous seconds of heat seeking kamakazi sharks. Scavenger is manditory.

It seems the dev's have completely stopped caring for this game.
I love the ''Netcode patch'' that was supposed to come before the summer. And that ''Q&A Session'' for developers/forum goers.
Oh, and G IH A IN ID II said they have no current changes to change any weapons. Consider this a done game.
R.I.P MW3.

With connectivity patches, it won't benefit all players.
There will be players that will have a better experience of MW3 with the network patch but there will be others that will see no change or it will worsen the experience.
I still have lag issues as host at times but I'll say that the network patch have improved the playability of MW3. This "magical lag patch" won't happen which is why I keep bringing this up to those on the COD forums.
Since shotguns & other weapon classes can be buffed/nerfed using a hotfix (in which certification is not required by MS/Sony), so why not do it?
We have the stats on how they should be buffed so they can test this & come back with their thoughts.
I'll be quite honest that the last weapon balance pass actually made the game quite enjoyable but I would like to go back to using the pump action shotguns, Model 1887 & AA-12 at some point without raging at how terrible they are despite max levelling them.

I fully agree.
IW constantly acts like a patch is hard stuff. All they're doing is bumping new weapon files (which take seconds to modify) to the server. I would really love to see how the game would go if they just buffed the AA-12, SPAS, Model, and KSG to our numbers for one day. I bet you my house that no one would complain at all. Hell, most people wouldn't even notice it.
It really hurts when an entire weapon class (save the two good ones) is statistically worse off than others. I've even recently given up using the pump-actions now. Foxhound and his big-brother style of moderating makes it impossible for us shotgun users to express our thoughts. Brick has given rather large (and calm, constructive ones at that) that drive the point home. Unfortunately it's most likely deleted. The USAS is almost up to 12,000 kills, which would surpass my SPAS-12.

Its just that nobody's getting paid to do a patch. I mean one guy can't just decide "I'm gonna change this data and then ship it off!" There's a whole freaking system to doing all of it, and any time doing that is time taken away from mw4, which will earn them plenty more money than a patch to mw3 ever will. It's not like hotfixing something takes hours. But my theory is that they won't get paid to patch the weapons, and they just don't want to get shit from the community again for fucking up.
