So does the suppressor just decrease the range by a specific amount of units, or is there an actual multiplier behind it? The CoD 4 sheet doesn't have an attachments page showing the effects (understandably, since there are only 3 attachments that affect weapon stats and it's easier to just show their effects in the sheet for the individual weapons).

It's weapon-specific. Suppressor was also weapon-specific in MW2. Otherwise, there wouldn't be all those purty zeros on the ends of the supressed range values.

What bunny said. Before MW3, the game did not have the code support to represent attachments as objects in and of themselves. Thus, weapons with "attachments" were actually just duplicated weapons that included whatever modification to its stats the attachments provided.

And because of that, you couldn't refill ammo from a gun on the ground unless it had the exact same attachments as yours.
EDIT: To clarify, I'm talking about MW2, not CoD4.

I hate playing without knowing the stats already lol I would have done preliminary testing like I did for bo3 but my power went out so the download must have reset and some guys are fixing the power sometime before I come home from work. Then I have to wait for the download all over again

With the shots to kill feature in the killfeed, which is pretty cool, you can get an idea with enough playtime of general gun stats. Not as nice as Marvel's stuff but more actual data than we have ever had in the game before.

If the stats are close to the beta than the ERAD, KBAR, and AK should be at the top for now

It was no ACR, but it was very good. It was the first gun I golded. My favorite gun outright from MW3 was probably the UMP. UMP with Silencer and Range (after it got the damage buff, of course) was amazing.

Driftor just said the M14 fires at 635 in MWR instead of 1200 from the original COD4. This is the first I've heard of a weapon stat change from the orignal. Do we know of others?

The G3, M14 and handguns have a fire time of 0.096 (625 RPM). Sniper rifles still have a fire time of 0.05 (1200 RPM). Rounding errors were fixed, which means some of the original times are not decreased by one millisecond anymore (fire and rechamber times of 0.065, 0.08, 0.283 and 0.866). The sprint duration scales of the M14 with ACOG, P90 and M21 were corrected, like in the original game on consoles. The AKS-74U has the same movement speed as other SMGs. The RPD has a reload add time of 6 seconds instead of 7.13 seconds. Switching from the Grenade Launcher to the M14 takes 0.7 seconds instead of 0.6 seconds. Recoil Decrease and Bug
