Its to express and exert dominance, obviously A display of dominance has no use when the one you are attempting to express dominance over can't see. And then if it is used to affirm one's dominance to oneself, it is a lowly and enemy-centered, for at its core is the deriving of self-worth from comparison to others, rather than a proper, intrinsic, principle guide. I love this Covey book.

believe it or not there are actually more than two people in each game Yeah, but just barely. That's not bad.. Not bad compared to Wii U's #s. Wii U has like around 3000 TOTAL players on peak hours. At least you're guaranteed to find a match in any mode on PS3 and 360.

I crossed over after Reach. ^____________- So this is why we get teabagging as a field order. All you COD converts from Halo doing it. IW actually gave me a choice of what I would want in the game between useful shotguns, decent irons for all guns, and tea bagging FOs. I'm proud of my choice.

Decided to do a lil more testing today with the semi attachment this time on the SA-805 & Honey Badger. The SA-805 cuz its a 3HK max like the AK & R5. Range, RPM, and recoil were all slightly better than the MR28, but seeing that you get the optic & muzzle brake for "free" on the MR28, doesn't seem to be worth the attachment.
However, the Honey Badger seems to be a viable aggressive silenced semi. Little recoil & decent (silenced) 2HK range. Grip tightens the groupings but don't know if worth dropping the VMR for it let alone running 3 attachment since Stalker & Focus are mandatory on my ARs.

I've tried the Remington with single fire and VMR. Worked pretty well, I'm a huge fan of the VMR so that's an advantage over the DMRs for me. Did not notice any 1hk's with Deadeye, however.

I have been trying the honeybadger with semiauto and I just don't see the appeal. I think I'll try the burst MRs next.

Also Driftor deems the MSBS OP, lel. :3 It is OP but those suggestions are stupid. The 2 HK range should be halved and it should have less recoil.

how sad. blitz was the only game mode i would be remotely interested in and i dont plan to get a new console. Don't waste your time. It doesn't have amything that made ctf amazing. This is just a herpderp run gamemode. The majority of the blitz locations are either too close to one another or are in a tight area, making it difficult to kill anyone trying to get in unless you make yourself easily seen or watch just a single direction. It doesn't have the classic chases, hunts, cold wars, or full map usage that ctf demanded. This gamemode is for impatient idiots who demand the most simple of an objective that isn't tdm.

"OP" is an exaggeration with regards to the MSBS; at worst, it's a top-tier mid-range weapon. There's more to account for than just the fire time between bullet #1 and bullet #2 with regards to how powerful a weapon is.

Why not just buff all automatics to 2-3 shot kills on the high recoil/low RPM ones, and the low recoil/fast firing ones to 3-4? MW2 master race.

I wouldn't say it's op but it's best gun for sure (move over mtar) Until we see actual numbers from 3 burst effects on all ARs i think its premature to say its "OP". Not to mention that with a modded controller and semi auto on ARs you can totally wreck shit just as easy.

Nov 17 17:05:38 <Drift0r> I like my testicals Burst guns should be stronger. Why the fu ck would they exist otherwise? Exactly, else we end up with BO M16, MW3 pre patch M16 and BO2 Sig

An AR that can kill in ~4 frames or under 75ms is pretty OP. The 2 shot range is longer than it should be and it's accurate enough to serious work at ranges too. In a game where latency is king, guns that can kill that fast might as well be giving you time travel powers. Snipers, shotguns, pistols, I get why those can kill fast. But this thing? I found it to just be easy mode. MLG banned it because otherwise every match was about 4 MSBS's vs. 4 other MSBS's.
To be fair, it's not nearly as OP, accurate, or spammy as the old Type 95. It does have some accuracy issues at range but still is by no means hard to use. Maybe hipfire and ADS nerf would balance it?

It does have some accuracy issues at range but still is by no means hard to use. Maybe hipfire and ADS nerf would balance it? Here's the thing - making the MSBS a 3HK is a really bad idea - they tried that in black ops 2, remember? The SWAT-556 was absolute trash until you got full-auto, remember? The M8A1 was king because of that. Being able to kill without landing an entire burst is critical for a burst fire gun to be good - I challenge you to play CoD 4 with the M16 without SP, it's just terrible! Increasing the ROF really won't help either. Post-patch MW3 M16 w/ RF still wasn't very good, at least compared to the other amazing rifles in the game. When you combine that with it's terrible range damage, and the fact that the recoil means that at long range you have to aim at the toes to land a whole burst, just lowering the damage and increasing the fire rate wouldn't work. They either need to have the MSBS be a 3HK with zero burst delay at all (and corresondingly drop the recoil), or give it body multipliers! I've been saying since Blops that the Burst and Semi-auto rifles need body multipliers to make them competitive with the other weapons in the game - give them a 2HK from the lower chest up, and a 3HK to the body at range, while increasing ROF and making the burst delay longer. The burst weapons should exist to reward people for accuracy - not punish them because they want to try something different. Of course, on PC with no auto-aim things are significantly different. The burst fire and semi-auto weapons simply aren't popular - it's quite difficult for most people to aim well while spamming the mouse button.

To be fair, it's not nearly as OP, accurate, or spammy as the old Type 95. It does have some accuracy issues at range but still is by no means hard to use. Maybe hipfire and ADS nerf would balance it? How much spread increase and by how much extra time to ADS would you propose? I suppose you could make them have movement speeds between that of marksman rifles and fully automatic ARs. Is it possible to increase reload time? A slower reloading gun might make it less viable in shorter ranged engagements so some players may end up using it less and make SMGs more viable. Plus, I've always been amazed at how quick ARs in general reload in COD. I swear the AN-94 reloaded faster than many of the SMGs in BO2 and then you can have maps that make ranged guns, like LMGs, a novelty choice because they are too small so you can get cross map headshots with a fully automatic AR as the range and damage hasn't decreased enough. I've done this on Turbine and that was considered a "snipers' map" by many. I imagine those people would liken Stormfront and Stonehaven as "Battlefield sized" maps as if COD never had large maps (Makin and Seelow from WaW were pretty large). I'm not sure if citing MLG banning stuff as always correct regarding if anything is OP as I imagine the metagames for casual play and competitive are different. If they're not then I stand corrected. However, I fully expect competitive players to be able to maximise the benefits of a burst fire gun, by having above average accuracy than others, than having to resort to a fully automatic one. I know you have a vested interest in the competitive scene but non-competitive players like myself could look to see why certain stuff doesn't get banned having seen them being used a lot in public lobbies. I can't remember if Toughness, Scavenger and the C4 were ever banned by MLG but, if not, some people could see an issue with that. I mean Scavenger resupplying C4s that can be thrown pretty far making the frag less viable ,and being able to get 75% reduced flinch to help win gunfights, and therefore, more refills, is a good way to force Flak Jacket onto opposing players. Also, do you know if aim assist is turned off during competitive tournaments by chance? Or can't they do this in Ghosts? My reason for asking is that aim assist could play a part more so with balance issues in the competitive scene than public lobbies. Do you consider anything in the game as underpowered?

Maybe hipfire and ADS nerf would balance it? It's a little frustrating to read that on here when the far wider audience is exposed to your "OP!!!!" video, where you clearly state it's the same gun, including on screen prompts, via the magic of YouTube. It is top tier but you do need to aim it and you will die to nearly everything if you need that second burst. As for long range, forget it, I actively avoid it whenever possible - 4 or 5 bursts isn't for me.

Maybe it's the hit detection, I get a lot more one burst kill with MSBS than Type-95.

It could be related to smgs being less popular therefore making most targets not only slower, but less likely to flinch you Hmm, that seems to be a factor indeed, now I think of it, I do better with it in KC than Cranked, as it's on my KC AR class.

The recoil is bad enough that you'll only get one bullet on target at long range. It's a Type 95 with significant recoil (for a burst gun), and a much lower rate of fire. That doesn't really scream OP to me. It's a weird gun because it's a three round burst gun designed for close range. Your opinion is probably biased because you hang out with a bunch of MLG players now that you're involved with an MLG team. Balancing the game according to extremely high level play is a bad idea, just look at BO2, a ton of guns were ruined because DJ Vahn saw too many pros using them at MLG events. But whatever, as a Youtuber it's kind of your job to play on controversy. A slight reduction to its 2HK range or a hipfire nerf would be fine.
