Did the first mission (or two). It seems there's a change in direction in the tone and setting of the campaign, especially with the dialogue, compared to the original. Enemies seem to have less health but we won't know how this plays at the endgame. Nice to see the gadget that didn't make it in the original make it for the sequel.

Nope. Followed all of the steps, it's gotta be an issue with different handles for Club and Ubi site proper. They'll either pick me or not, I'm not sweating it.

Just used my last invite to your other account. It’s registered for Xbox. Remember to change the platform before you try. If that doesn’t work maybe Marco can help you out.

PSA: - there a big update to download. I had 50gb free and it wouldn’t download because there wasn’t enough space. I’ve just made room and it’s downloading now. Forsaken for a while then.

So... whatchu all think of the beta?
I enjoyed my time... I did a couple of the missions then did the endgame mission on normal with all 3 specializations and on hard with 2 of them.
First of all, it was really hard not to face tank and to get used to being squishy again... that was a big change. As well, I must have popped more medkits in half a hard mission than I have in the last 6 months of TD1.
I loved all there was to explore and loot... I hope they don't tone that down for the real game. I also like having to help each settlement with their stuff too; this way it will make collectibles more relevant.
Found combat more challenging without a pulse and not having those red triangles stay forever over enemies heads.
I really really like how they changed the elite enemies armour; that once their armour goes down, their health goes down much quicker
I still have no idea how to kill those walking robot tank gunners...is there a weakspot?
Enjoyed the specialization classes; I like the sniper a a class but I like the bow as a "super" best
Other than one crash and a rampant audio glitch that would go on for minutes at a time... no complaints
You guys?

Because of the bizarre update schedule and the fact I’m typing from Germany- I only had about 5/6 hours game time. I got to level 7. I don’t know how far in I got. I only found two pieces of blue armour.
It felt good. I think I like the armour sets.
Agree on the missing pulse! Was really surprised how that had just become ‘part of default td1.’
I did a few main missions. A Few control points. A few rescue missions.
I wanted to like the marksman rifles and smgs but it really came down to AR fully auto and shotties.
Didn’t actually get into the DZ but did trigger the mission.
I liked it. I didn’t crack the farming mats and upgrading bases. Tried to make a start.
I think the drone and turrets are superb. Didn’t progress the mad balls enough for them to be much use and I was confused at the mechanic. You sort had to do something, not just drop them on the ground.
I think I’m in anyway. That’s how a demo should be.

Oh. I did get an urban Mdr towards the end and it was great. The other two I had weren’t.

I took my time exploring and looking around.
I had no desire to go to the DZ because I have limited desire to do PVP in the first place.
I'm really really going to have to get used to not facetanking enemies... I have to remember that my weapons are not godrolled and my gear won't keep me alive
Although in the Black Tusk mission, I facetanked one of those big minigun yellow bars with a shotty and took him down...THAT was hellafun

I wasn’t clear on the weapon stats and upgrades. Is there randomness? Or is everything prescribed. I did see one armour stat that was variable. With the persistent attachments (once unlocked just slap them on everything) I can see the potential of shorter life like vanilla destiny 2. No way to strive for the perfect red dot etc.

Tried the Sharpshooter for the invaded mission and felt the handling for the rifles could be better, particularly sniper rifles when scoping in as the encounters don't usually provide large enough open areas and long sight lines enough. Would be nice to have iron sights, ACOG and a red dot sight as options for optics for sniper rifles though. Liked the Super 90 for the shotgun.

No way to strive for the perfect red dot etc. It's a delicate balance, I agree. I hate having 50 of my 90 inventory spots dedicated to mods. And while I don't think the was to strive for the perfect weapon attachment will happen, there will always be that strive for the perfect weapon... the problem with Melbatoast Destiny2 was that there was no chase for either weapon or mod... here there will at least be that weapon. Plus, afaik, the gear will have random stats too; I got several of the same purple named set pieces with different stats on them

I dunno about the 50 cal gun, but I know on the sniper/marksman rifle that the sniper class had, I was able to change that weapon attachment around

The game is in a much better place now than Division 1 was at this point in its' life.
