Your one character, four for four? 100%. That's crazy.
The average(gear success per attempt) seems to be running around 20% to 30% right now. And that's just for a piece of gear. Not necessarily the piece of gear you need.

That Warlock run up there might be the most successful Raiding character in all of Destiny. Gear on every attempt. Not only that, but more than one piece of gear per attempt. And then the Vex.

Congrats.
I did get a piece of gear on my run. After looking at my stuff after the game, i came to the realization that the Chest armor i got would be enough. I have seconds on a lot of armors. On my second character, i can dump it's present Exotic chest piece, use a backup Exotic helmet, and now use last night's Chest armor as a 4th raid gear piece. I have a second character at level 30 now.
Yay me.
My last character is now going to need a helmet, to finish that one off.

So all of you are done with Hard raids for the weekend? I am going to have to find some other people so I can do the checkpoints. I don't have them.
It might not matter though. What I need to do now is buy two sets of IB boots, and one IB gloves. That's going to take a lot of glimmer. I don't necessarily need the 2nd and 3rd pieces for lv 30 purposes, but I want to have them as the IB gear has better balanced stats. I can then dump two of my raid boots.
If I get the above done, ...all I then need is a non-exotic helmet OR a non-exotic chest piece to finish off my last character. Maybe I do need to get those oracle checkpoints :-(

I thought we had everyone covered. Not sure how you didn't get them. Keep in mind that the raid boots have the extra heavy ammo perk. I don't think any of the IB boots do -- just extra primary ammo. We all know how important heavy ammo is for the raid so you might want to hang on to those. |

Yeah. My general recommendation would be to not dump any 30-light gears (I can even go so far as not to dump any legendary or above gears), until you run out of room on armor storage slots. I believe Dumien still has the Oracle checkpoint. |

I'm not breaking down my Raid boots. Just getting the other one's as extras so I can do the mix & matching stuff better. The current VoG Raid boots are not good for the Crucible. The Iron Banner boots give more benefits to faster grenade cooldowns. Grenade spam REALLY is needed in the Crucible, especially in IB control type matches. I am finding more and more success as I tweak this stuff. Especially with the Sunsinger class, tweaking the grenade settings on it. One can really punish other teams.

If Aroc still has the checkpoint I'd be willing to help out. At some point this weekend or Monday though, I would really like to finish out the rest of the hard raid. I have the gatekeeper checkpoint on my hunter currently, though I'll need to sub out for my titan once we're in.

I don't know if Aroc has the checkpoint. I don't think he does.
I would like to finish a Hard raid soon too. I think that's the only way I can get a Raid helmet.

If I remember correctly: Dumien intentionally saved the checkpoint on one of his characters by immediately leaving the lobby after the initial wipe and then rejoined with a different character. Everybody needs Raid helmet (and I guess many want the Vex Mytho as well ). So let's tentatively plan for hard-VoG-all-the-way on Monday. |

The conflux defense, while quite fun, is a difficult nut to crack with minimal loot gains (just AE/AS?) |

There is a loot drop after opening the gate. That's the one I am referring to with "just AE/AS" comment.
The ideal sequence is the following:
a) One of us gets the Oracle checkpoints on 1 character;
b) Open gates 3 times to get the first loot on each character;
c) Duplicate Oracle checkpoint from a) to all characters of all raid team members to avoid conflux defense;
d) Easy Oracle->Gatekeeper run for all characters;
e) Gatekeeper->end at least on characters that need helmet;

That's my fault. I should have switched characters to get the save. I didn't do that. I was trying to save us time in switching, and also assumed, by the tone I got from everyone, that we wouldn't be doing all three Hard runs last night. We would be doing more later. So I figured that I would just jump on someone else's later this weekend.
Not a big deal. I have plenty of other things to do in Destiny.
