I was wondering if people could do this. What I am looking for here is a thread where people could share information, in regards to how many times they have done the VoG. And on each attempt, if they got RAID gear. I know some of you have done it a bunch, so you probably don't remember all the prizes (weapons, shards, energy, etc...), but if you remember anything else of note, please put that down too (like you got the Mythoclasst on a particular run?) Maybe if we do this, it will help shed some new light or perspective on the process? Or best of all, maybe a pattern could be found?
If you do multiple runs on one character, just list it as one attempt in your list. Even if you run it five times in a week with one character, it's only the first attempt that has the odds to get loot. So just put down one time for that week.
If one started on Tuesday Sep 16th, they could in theory have had 18 shots at Raid gear on Normal. Six weeks of raiding, six chances per character. Three characters gives one 18 chances. And then of course, 18 shots on Hard too. A total of 36 rolls of the dice. Has anyone achieved this? Had three characters ready the first week of VoG, to be able to do both Normal/Hard for all of them?
Here are the possible weeks people could have done it, to refresh memories.

Um, I got two chests and two helmets last night (aka shards). No gear the previous two weeks. Got a chest and helm three weeks ago, and the boots four weeks ago. Yeah, that seems about right

So.....you have had FIVE normal VoG attempts? Or are you mixing up Hard with that too?

If I recall correctly:
09/16: Did not attempt
09/23: 1 run on normal, only shards
09/30: 1 run on normal, hunter chest
10/07: 1 run on normal, Found Verdict raid-only legendary shotgun
10/14: 1 run on normal, hunter gloves
10/21: Will update after running on 10/23

I have received guns, just no armor gear. Guns = Atheon's Epilogue, Vision of Confluence, Hard Light, Found Verdict.
Those were split 2 in one attempt, 2 in another attempt, nothing but shards/energy in my remaining two attempts. All normal mode.

1 Raid attempt so far, got 1 Raid boots for Hunter.
I won't exactly call a slew of guns unlucky. My goal is to reach level 28, not level 30, so I won't be too upset if I cannot get the Raid gear set for a long time. As a result, I would love to see more guns. Each one can add a little more variety of how I play the game.
Sure, I'll need Raid gears for hard Raid. With RNG, I am ready to accept the fact that I won't be getting enough of them until 2015.

Three attempts (characters) on normal mode, and then the same three on Hard mode. He's been doubling down like the above for at least three weeks. Tuesday would have been the 3rd time. |

In my defense- she had prohibited any form of video games from the trip, then told me she was going to get 4 hour massages, daily, and I was to entertain myself during said 4 hours. That flew like something that does not fly. Though I had to manually input my IP address every <15 minutes due to resort internets, Centipede, Caterpillar, and Cattle. So I only got to level 18 lol and Thanks Witty+Marko! |

Hunter: raid boots (4th run) + class cloak, raid sniper, icebreaker (already had two)
Titan: nothing interesting really...
And a Hell lot of shards/energy
I thought all you guys where unlucky, seems like I am one of the most unlucky ones... Did not even get any new primary weapons

The first raid run (normal) I tired we only got to the first chest from which I got some raid boots.
I completed one normal raid run the next week, which netted me a two primaries and a secondary gun but no armour.
