I cheated and used The100 to find a group, but I finished hard mode. Hurray me.
Also, thanks to IB, I am solidly 400 on all three characters. IB really is great for raising your light level.

With a new update upon us and the old raids being revamped, I figure it's time we get the band back together again. Based off what was said on stream, our first order of business will be ending Crota. How does Thursday the 30th sound? Start time subject to when Hebbspawn is ready to go bed and/or how generous Hebbwife is feeling, but I think 9:00 central or so should be plenty doable. That should give us a couple hours (give or take) to slice Crota into tiny pieces with his own sword. I'll be bringing my Hunter for invisibility and swordrunning capability. Who else is in?

I'm out of town that week, but the following week I could make it happen. 8 pm Central is about the earliest I'll be able to start - that's 5 pm my time. I don't know if Pegasus Actual or Protoss and Fatso even Destiny anymore. |

I don't think the fatman nor Pr00toss are too hard to recruit. The three of us are pretty high availability, but people do tend to get frustrated when we're waiting and waiting just trying to get the whole group on. And I don't think either of them is interested staying up too late central time on weekdays, maybe 11pm cutoff? Next time I talk to them I'll ask. |

I joined on Hebb Prime and I guess we did the weekly mission thing? That seems new. I can't help but notice that my Raiding Party achievement still hasn't popped. Sad!
Looking at my inventory I'm sure some spring cleaning is in order. I guess since it's confirmed nothing is going to carry to Destiny 2 I don't have to feel bad about melting down any of it!
I'm trying to figure out what my goals should be for the remainder of this game. I think probably all the challenges for the refreshed raids? Then again I'm pretty sure we didn't do challenges for the Wrath of the Machine. It seems like my Rise of Iron book doesn't need too much more work actually, even including Crucible garbage. Maybe level up my triumphs book enough to get to the last reward?. But lots of PVP junk, and boring crap like getting my factions to level 25. They're at 19/13/6. Eww.

THebb doesn't seem all that enthused about Destiny at the moment, so I guess he's questionable for tomorrow. If everyone else is in though I'm sure we can convince him to join. Outside of that, maybe I'll just find a group on the100. Meh. Dumien, you still playing Destiny at all? Yes, Senor Horse, we did the weekly story playlist, a new thing that replaced the daily story missions. Apologies for not having a mic -- Hebbwife and Hebbprime Jr. were asleep in the other room. I'll change locations so that isn't an issue if we get together Thursday. I think my goals are about the same as yours. Mostly get the last couple rewards for the AoT record book and finish off the RoI record book as I'm not missing a whole lot on either. I'd like to do all the refreshed raids and challenges, but given my somewhat limited availability that may be tougher than it should be, especially for Vault and King's Fall which are more time and teamwork intensive. 400 light should come pretty easy if we raid on a semi-consistent basis. Factions are easy to level -- buy a bunch of heavy synths from Xur then donate it to your faction of choice, preferably after completing the nightfall for the week for the extra 25% rep bonus that they brought back. It's not like there's really anything else worth dumping strange coins into. I took New Monarchy from 11.5 to 25 last night just mashing the A button for a few minutes. |

Didn't Mal say he was out of town? I sent a message to Pr00toss and the fat man but I'm thinking raiding tomorrow is a bit optimistic. We probably all need to gobble up some of that free light level they're dishing out and get back into the swing of things.

Pretty sure you could 3 man it. Ir Yut challenge mode would be out of the question, but the rest is manageable. At the very least, you should do the Abyss on each of your characters. |

We need 5 to clear the bridge section after the changes they've made. Could cheese it with a self-rez warlock I guess, but I don't know if we'll have any warlocks. Shouldn't have any issues other than that. Ir Yut challenge might be a bit tough, we'll see. Crota will be a cakewalk.

It's probably Thursday or bust for me this week, at least as far as trying to organize anything ahead of time goes. I'd guess 9:00ish central again, give or take up to an hour -- just depends on when Hebbspawn gets sleepy -- and it'll probably stay that way for the foreseeable future. I know that's not great for Fatso or Pr00toss, but might be good news for Mal at least. I might get some time on the weekend but I figure that'll be LFG territory.

Sorry, I'm out tonight. Didn't make it home yesterday. Our plane caught on fire and made an emergency landing in Detroit. Now I'm stuck in Minneapolis. Won't be home until late tonight. I could play tomorrow if the Hebb availability improves.

Expecting people to still be on Destiny in another month? Now that's optimism! I did do a VOG run a couple of nights ago. I don't think a 9pm CDT start time would have worked anyway. That shit kind of took a long time, though granted that was a try-hard group making sure we did the challenges and whatnot. But still. Considering how Crota was going (albeit shorthanded with a healthy dose of HebbLag2.0) I doubt we would get anywhere. And malgato excuses excuses if you really cared about raiding you would have snuffed out that fire before it was even an issue. |

Raids? Crucible is where it's at. You never know, you can just get as much fun invoking salt from enemy players than completing a challenge mode for the first time like I did earlier.  |

I'd rather play Combat on fucking Atari 2600 than Crucible. It still to this day hurts my head how bad the PVP in Destiny is.
Anyway we should definitely get together and do a run at 390 Oryx. That's kind of 'our raid' at least as far as the current roster goes. If we even have a current roster, on account of all the not raiding as a group we've been doing.
I did get 2.5 clears on VOG this week. Kind of hard to fit all the loot that falls out of that pinata. I should probably spend an hour just melting down old crap that I'm never going to use before I do anything else in Destiny. I'm glad nothing carries over to Destiny 2. Day one of D2 I will have my taste of freedom.
