ameli heavy is the better variant for overall flexibility. subverter is good for niche roles. The Heavy has marginally worse hip spread for twice the magazine size; it is far superior. Regarding the EPM, recoil was never the problem. Its problems were a combination of muzzle flash, low damage (given the gun's other properties), and low capacity before overheating. This patch changed none of those. I advise acquiring Diamond on the gun in Hardcore and then never touching it again.

It overheats @ 7 shots, so you have to fire it slowly to not overheat it (and so you can actually see).

I might be wrong, but looks like new max dmg range of tac-19 is ~250-256 inches (nvm, tested it with adv. rifling, range is the same), HBRa3 3 STK range is ~870-900 inches. Didn't notice any improvements on EMP3, still kicks as wild horse. IMR Feedback still has the same broken range. Edit: it still unclear about tac-19 range, here an example of max. range based on built-in range meter i.imgur.com/HxwUOuN.jpgLooks like it has more than 200" of max. range.

I might be wrong, but looks like new max dmg range of tac-19 is 256 inches. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is. If it is, then SHG just did a shitty buff to it.

He's not smart enough to understand that; or it's because he is using a macro. He already cheats with an XIM, so most likely he has a macro as well. I tried it too that way. The consensus is that firing range doesn't reflect the patch, oddly enough. There's barely any upward recoil now. The flash trails are brutal, but it will compete as a counter-sniper and in mid/long range battles where the BAL is a 5HK. Seems the same in private match to me. I'm guessing patch was a 10% increase in CS/reduction in vertical kick.

The patch definitely made it much more accurate. It now just needs some damage to go with it. I'm assuming the whole conundrum is they don't want to patch variants but any 2hk epm3 would make the exterminator a 1 headshot kill. The solution to this of course would be to give all epm3 a 1.5 everything multiplier by default to bring the damage up to 51. They could even decrease the damage values to 34-34-33.
But that would be too smart for SHG.

Well, either I had a bad night or my initial run with the Tac-19 was pure placebo. I just couldn't kill anyone with that gun for the life of me. Switched to the KF-5, and lo and behold, turns out I don't have floppy dicks for thumbs any more. Ran both the uppercut and roundhouse. Got shat on equally as bad for the painful 20 minutes I was hell-bent on using them.
Still liking the EPM3, though.

Almost literally zero recoil Talked about this before, for some reason the firing range is using some different weaponfiles than the ones loaded in match.
