Spawns and net coding/connection. There are no shown ping values or even the ping bar/meter on the scoreboard, so you have no clue if you're good or who/where you're connected to or not. It's a day and night difference from playing CoD4 on PC. |

Maps, guns, how it plays etc. though is all very faithful to the original. A little too faithful maybe in that some of the BS from MW is still there and exploitable. But if they'd changed anything they'd still get shit for it, they couldn't win really so they decided to just do 100% reproduction.

Netcode is bad / different. But...it's the same as its been since BLOPS2. Inconsistent. Some servers feel great. Others, you die before you can react and kill cams show things that you did not see / experience. Only 10 maps kinda sucks, especially with the addition of the vote for map system. Every asshole wants to play Shipment and Bog non-stop. I'm enjoying it over all.

People who never played CoD4 got excited for this game.
People who have played CoD4 tell them it isn't the GOAT it's made out to be. Martyrdom and Last Stand are annoying, Frag x3 and M16 are overpowered as hell.
They buy it regardless, even after Raven says they aren't altering any of the aforementioned balance issues.
People complain about Martyrdom and Last Stand being annoying, Frag x3 and M16 being overpowered as hell.
This is why microtransactions were added to CoD. This community is indescribably gullible.

The only things that concern me are whether: footsteps are audible again, AK74u has smg hip-fire and whether the connection is good.

Some sort of shit has hit the fan regarding in-game transactions in MWR apparently. I haven't been following though.
I can only enjoy MWR half of the time. The connection for me is so bad the other half of the time. Players skip, shoot me around corners, or knife me from afar. Meanwhile, IW has basically stabilized for me in terms of connection. IW runs dedicated servers at 20 Hz downlink rate, which is just adequate IMO (just barely exceeding the requirement for one bullet per packet), whereas 10 Hz for MWR is pathetic.

Winter/Christmas Crash is cool, but it does break the "feel". Have not had half my team running around with melee yet, but that's coming. I can only hope they keep it to cosmetics.

The last three CoD games have had pay to win weapons in supply drops. There's a screenshot of a Galil in the game. These drops will not be cosmetic only.
It's only a matter of time.
