Hawk let me tag along with his buddies and I finally got the raid done and got some decent loot, plus some emblems and all that cool stuff... now my warlocks can be one of the cool kids who wear a lemon zester on their chest too!
The Vosik challenge mode was okay; I almost caused us to wipe and did more damage to the boss than last time, so that was a plus.
On Aksis though, I still have no clue what I am doing, but I'm better. I know about the servitor callouts, I know not to jump from side to side and "snipe" from a far, I know that when I'm empowered to throw the bombs left by the dead servitors. I even got to do the whirlly spinning of death with the darkdrinker. But I still have no clue about Aksis and the whole slamming him on the back and when it came time to jump on his back and all that, I'm still lost as fuck.
I'm gonna do a few more pugs to get the mechanics down for next week so that when it's time to actually know what I am doing, I can do it

Wonder what Xur will sell...if it's Hard Light, I might just have to hop on for a bit this weekend. Not sure why, but I want that gun.
Also, they're bringing Rift Iron Banner back next week? Not sure how to feel about that, seems like a mercy rule every other match kind of deal (though that would be a quick way to get loot).

A general fuck you to solo players if they care about how they perform in-game rather than just loot? I rarely solo but I could see solo players being annoyed by this. Add to the fact that bounties usually have Fireteam requirements, and the Nightfall doesn't have matchmaking despite disposing of the kick to orbit feature. No idea if it's worth grinding the scout rifle so I might give it a miss. |
