So prepare for emote strike/nightfall rewards  Eververse is in, evidently, with silver engrams for sale, some of which are weapon and armor mods that boost their efficacy. |

It sounds like they give the same rewards as the engrams you get every time you level up (you get engrams instead of Motes of Light in D2). Didn't pre-order like I probably should have...oh well, I'll try to get my hands on D2 this week yet. Wonder if I'll have to clear any space on my PS4 for it, looking forward to that already.

Stayed up and logged on... then waited for the servers to be busy for 15 minutes... accepted the EULA agreement... then back to the servers being busy for another 25ish minutes...
Then got on and did the first few missions.
There are a few extras clips and tidbits that I won't spoil... but I did the homecoming first mission (the one from the Beta) and the next one to get to the Farm where I remembered that I have to teach young adults again for the next 10 months... so I went to bed sorta jacked up and couldn't sleep.

I got the exotic shotgun yesterday, what the fuck is that thing made for? I am sure I am not seeing something here... But a shotgun with the special power to push enemies away? Why?
Doesn't even really work against ultras either. Please tell me I am dumb and why this thing is going to be the next Ghorn.

Hmm not what I noticed (it surely doesn't push ultras that far), but even then. Why would you want that? For a conflux phase like in VOG it might be useful, pushing enemies away from their objective, but in a sense you are only delaying a problem instead of taking care of it.
I don't like that, since you are increasing the amount of enemies later in the event. And you are sacrificing your power weapon for it, which could in theory easily deal with that. (aka a real shotgun, which does a bit more damage FIY)
