Played about two hours so far. First thought:
Gunslinger is looking like the must pick Basic Training if you are going to be sprinting at all. Sprint out times are very long. Gunslinger looks to be BO3 gung-ho so if you start firing from the hip during sprint it makes your sprintout extremely short, maybe a frame or two.
Unless something else can reduce sprintout time I can't imagine picking anything else for my SMG/AR loadouts.

Ok guys here is the quick look at the stats from my playtesting
Grease Gun = nice 3 shot range with alright firerate. EVERY YOUTUBER IS SLEEPING ON THIS
PPSH = 4 shot but fast firerate
as far as ttk goes, the grease gun is probably faster.
STG = long 4 shot range, fastest firing AR
The first AR = looks to be slower shooting than STG, no 3 shot range as well. Worse STG
M1 Garand = 2 shot semi auto
Lewis = 3 shot kill LMG even from far. Alright firerate but since it has a 3 shot, its ttk is exceptional
Haven't tried the second LMG but it should be a 4 shot kill
The third LMG has an absurdly slow firerate and ADS. Can't tell if it 2 shots.
THE EXCLUSIVE SMG FOR THE AIRBORNE CLASS IS GARBAGE. 5 shot kill from close range lmaooooooooooo.
I am 100% confident on the shots to kill of the guns besides the second LMG and third LMG

Forgot the Type 100.
Basically a longer 4 shot range grease gun but with no 3 shot range. Probably longer 5 shot range too but even the PPSH has a long enough 5 shot range for SMGs

What is the exclusive SMG for Airborne? I was only able to level Airborne up to level 4; I don't think I was able to actually progress towards level 5 at all.
The Waffe-28 has really high ROF and great TTK up close.
With how small some of these maps are and how slow ADS out of sprint is, I'm starting to feel that I'd rather have Steady Aim than Quickdraw on some of these SMGs. The Grease Gun and PPSH with Steady Aim are both amazing; the hip-fire is so tight that you really shouldn't need to ADS even out to medium range. Reflex on the Grease Gun and grip on the PPSH. Quickdraw I like on the Type-100 because that gun has terrible hipfire (slow ROF and low damage) but is extremely accurate while ADS.

I figured that was how the guy got it but it turns out it was a default class. That was before the level cap increase of course. So the exclusive gun comment is regarding the waffe. It does have a four shot range but it is very close. Like Kuda close. Or think about it this way, the 4 shot range is so close that when I saw the Waffe 5 shot kill me, I was convinced it's minimum shots to kill was 5. I've been 4 shotted by it only a few times. Anyway, I figured out that the the STG shoots at 700 rpm. Tmartn was showcasing how a full mag is all it takes to kill a recon plane in his latest video. I put 60 fps on, 0.25x speed and timed how long it took for him to empty his mag. My first stopwatch time was 10.3 seconds and my second try was 10.31 I'll be using 10.3 I divided by 4 because the video was at 0.25x speed. Got 2.575 30/2.575 is 11.6504854 That multiplied by 60 gives 699.029126 rpm. Someone on reddit told me he swears that the first AR does shoot faster than the STG. That's not what I see but I haven't actually tested it |

What is interesting is that the STG says "fastest firing in class" but has a 8 in RoF. The first AR has a 9. I'm inclined to trust the descriptions more for right now.

So according to a Reddit user, Michael Condrey on stream said that he is unsure why the community at large says the Grease Gun needs a buff. According to the Reddit user, Condrey said that the Grease Gun has the highest average KD ratio. That's a win for me, I'm always right  |

According to thexclusiveace, rapid fire is a 7% increase.
He also calced a few guns. The only SMG/AR/LMGs he did was the STG and the Type 100.
He got 660 for the STG (I got 664) and 617 for the razorwhack Type 100

Lexapro You were right homie, the waffe still kills faster than the grease gun and the ppsh in its 5 shot range according to @lackingagoodname The grease gun kills faster than the ppsh which is great but I already though that. Interesting to see the first AR shoot faster than the PPSH. @lackingagoodname upload the vids on youtube of the remaining guns and I'll calc it for you

The PC open beta started a day early. The game feels great so far. I've been using Armored and the LMGs exclusively. I want to marry the Lewis gun, it's like the HAMR all over again for me. It just feels so right.

I'm in the process of moving, Beta came slightly sooner than expected, though I should still have time toward the end to get things taken care of.
