This shit again this year huh? Suppose I shouldn’t expect anything different at this point. Once again, I’ll gladly pay for an app that includes ALL stats and stays updated with every patch. But we can rest assured BM will make yet another app that leaves out a bunch of stats and never gets gets errors fixed or patch updates. Too much to ask apparently after holding stats for ransom.

My understanding is this is exactly what happened. Apparently this caused a problem because lackingagoodname used to steal marvel's data and post it on some subreddit he moderates claiming he "datamined" it himself. Then when Marvel and BM partnered, lacking couldn't do that anymore so now he just trolls. |

Marvel has a skill/service and wants to be compensated for said service just like a lot of us are in our daily lives. BM simply offered him a opportunity to be compensated as they introduce his work to a wider audience. As salty as we are about not getting info directly from Marvel for free anymore, we should realize a few things before we start throwing tantrums about it. They can't hold information hostage as we are free to buy the app and discuss what we learn with others, we just can't blatantly pirate the app by screenshoting pages of it and whatnot. On a more positive note, At least there is a option to support a annual business endevevor Marvel has become a part of. A lot of you in here wanna talk the talk about appreciating Marvel but when its time to walk the walk and support Marvel via a $5 app you want to cry about it? In any case its $5, not $500 guys! Im probably the poorest dude in here but I think even I can scrounge up $5 for someone that has done so much for the community. Kids need to learn that us adults have bills to pay and time is money. If you want to benefit from Marvel's time and work you have to contribute a few bucks, if you dont want to pay you can just wait for someone else to regurgitate the info to you. Its that simple kids...
