I've been playing around a lot in splitscreen with another controller to check out the damage on the different guns, I'm also happy to do some tests for people if they'd like.
From what I've seen, AN-94 looks pretty amazing in terms of the assault rifles.
Some weapon damage tests;
(CR = Close Range LR = Long Range, unless otherwise noted all guns are fully automatic with 30 round magazine)
Assault Rifles/I-WIN buttons:
Type 25 - 5 shots LR - 4 shots CR
M8A1 - 5 shots LR - 3 shots CR (4 round burst, 32 mag)
AN-94 - 4 shots LR - 3 shots CR (2 round burst)
MTAR - 5 shots LR - 3 shots CR
SWAT-556 - 5 shots LR - 4 shots CR (3 round burst, long delay)
FAL OSW - 3 shots LR - 2 shots CR (Semi, 25 mag)
SCAR-H - 3 shots LR - 3 shots CR (very low RPM)
SMR - 3 shots LR - 2 shots CR (20 mag)
M27 - 5 shots LR - 4 shots CR
SMGs:
Vector - 6 shots LR - 4 shots CR (36 mag)
PDW57 - 6 shots LR - 3 shots CR (50 mag)
MP7 - 6 shots LR - 4 shots CR (40 mag)
MSMSC - 6 shots LR - 3 shots CR
Skorpion EVO - 6 shots LR - 4 shots LR (32 mag)
Chicom CQB - 6 shots LR - 4 shots CR (3 round burst, 36 mag)
That's all the testing I've done so far, will probably have more coming up soon but I think I've had all the main guns done so far.
Some interesting things to note:
Ghost is unlocked at level 55
Flak Jacket is unlocked at level 32
Scavenger is unlocked at level 44
Awareness (counter ninja) is unlocked at level 50
Dead silence is unlocked at level 38
Tacitcal mask is unlocked at level 20
Claymore us unlocked at level 53
Betty is unlocked at level 28
Danger close (wildcard) is unlocked at level 28
Orbital VSAT (blackbird) is unlocked at level 42
Swarm is unlocked at level 54
Dogs are unlocked at level 51
Your start off with the following scorestreaks: UAV, Care package and Dragonfire (FPS russia fly thingy)
Scavenger doesn't make you start with extra magazines.
Tactical insertion is banned from FFA gamemodes-
Certain private match gamemodes gives you xp (One in the chamber etc.)
The select-fire attachment makes all burst weapons automatic, all semis automatic, and all autos into 3 round burst (apart from Vector, which becomes 2 round burst).
When auto weapons are made into 3 round burst, they have no noticeable delay between bursts. One thing to note is some guns such as the AN-94 can be made fully automatic, but it'll still fire 2-round burst but you don't need to fire the trigger for each burst (if that makes sense?). It's like putting rapid fire on the CZ75, you can actually fire the gun faster semi-auto then fully-auto, if that makes sense ;_;
Camouflages are unlocked through headshot challenges like COD4 and MW2 (there is gold camo).
You can put camouflage on your knife, knife camouflages are unlocked through normal knife kills.
You start off with the following weapons in each category:

Shotguns = R870 MCS
LMGs = MK 48
SMGs = MP7
Snipers = SVU-AS (new Dragunov)
In general: gameplay is incredibly gun-on-gun, there's rarely any scorestreaks doing much work but it might be cause of people haven't unlocked all the fancy stuff yet. I've had absolutely no connection problems so far, haven't had a single host-migration and I'm usually running a 4-bar connection.
I have more coming up, just a bit busy right now.
