I used the haymaker with long barrel as a sniper today. In related news this boner is not fading anytime soon Does long barrel do anything on the KRM feels like it does nothing at all In terms of range i feel a small difference. But it kinda adds stability to being able to 1shot in medium range

Keep in mind Treyarch did weapon and specialist tuning today. Some weapons may feel different from earlier beta days. ARs had some idle sway added to them apart from the Burst weapons. Sheiva has a tiny amount of idle sway like before. No idea if SMGs had anything changed on them. And snipers now have more sway Edit New gamemode is fun but my god you can abuse the spawn system to camp it hard. safeguard......

So what game are the maps most like? Bo1/mw2 hopefully? MW3/BO2 style of maps with limited vertical elements [One spot per map] and 3 lanes of normal traffic however...extra lane added on which is movement only access. Bunch of cover at certain points with some head glitch spots.

This is the treyarch that refused to significantly nerf the 870 and didn't nerf the other BO2 shotties. They are going to look at actual weapon K/D and use percentage rather than cave to dumb shotgun haters. Look forward to trying out the shotties on Wednesday. First thing I'm going to do is see how the sprintout time is without Gung Ho.

The silenced spas12 was fine. I would have been fine with the stakeout if it had 8 or 6 rounds instead of 4. The Olympia was completely outclassed by the spas12 in spite doing more damage in close range simply because it was a 2 round shotgun with a 3 second reload.
And obviously as you said the HS10 was bad. It was a spas12 with half the ammo and a slightly tighter ADS spread with the ability to dual wield which cut the range in half.

Well, he's listening to "OK Computer" and complained about the wall-running, so Hutch isn't half bad. Hutch is entertaining to watch, and he does not appear as arrogant as (many) other streamers. If you watch that clip to 1:14:10 mark, there is a moment that his friend was making funny noises that cracked me up Bros new to this game can keep watching, 1:47:00 -> 2:00:00 mark to get a crash tutorial (as the party was trying to get a new player up to speed on his first game). Looks like I am not the only one who enjoys watching hutch: Looks like Vahn is actually playing with Hutch. Pegasus Actual: here is your chance to actually troll him directly

Impressions....
I downloaded the BETA on Saturday, so I got about 5/6 hours of gameplay in over the 2 days.
Better than AW, no doubt about it.
I got some bad lag yesterday. Lag spikes & not being synced to other players properly aka "lag comp". Experienced good games and terrible games connection wise. Ping monitor had me between 0 - 65 ping, most games. Yet, I'd still have games where I felt behind other players in the lobby. No reaction time, etc. Lag spiked to 400 ping, up down, up down, all game. Just had to keep quitting to find something playable. I posted a video of it on the other thread.
The wall running is gimmicky and usually a quick way to get yourself killed.
The boost jumping is....meh. I'd like the game better without it.
The black hat is OP. Every UAV, counter uav, HATR, etc, would get hacked. No need to earn anything, just steal it from the other team.
The specialist perks run from useless to super OP. The war machine arm gun guy is complete BS. ZERO recoil and full ability to head glitch, all while not having any flinch if hit by bullets.
Maps are annoying. Not as bad as AW, but still too many lines of sight. Too many ways to access every room, etc.
The water / swimming is unnecessary. Added for the sake of adding something.
Create a class thing is boring. Pointstreaks are boring. Perks are boring. Maybe 15 iterations is just too much?
Burst pistol is OP. Shotguns are the worst, maybe ever, in COD history.

Yesterday when Von was doing stuff on Hutch's twitch stream, he put a Lag-O-Meter on Hutch so they can observe lags at real time. So suffice it to say: there are lag problems and they are worried about it.

The game is fun. There are only a few things that bothered me.
The blackhat problem is obvious. The pump shotgun is a crap shoot and the other one just sucks. They need to figure out the lag issues. The game was unplayable most of the day Sunday, and was still hit or miss for me this morning.
They must have nerfed the Hellstorm missile. It was godlike Friday and meh today.
It also seemed to me that the flinch was toned down. This is a good thing. Either that or grip acts very much like toughness.

Every time the game is updated the servers lag like hell Black hat needs to be changed but no idea how Map wise you can use wall running and use certain routes to avoid main lines of sight which are not obvious. Loads of lines of sight welcome to CoD Swimming is useful at times Shotguns are not half balanced just missing some extra range/damage. Weapon balance needs work for SMGs. I like the game apart from two main issues flinch and player model art blends into backgrounds. Specialists missed opportunities for something cool with create a class. Certain ones are only useful for one or two seconds. Gone from not caring to wanting to play the game

Shieva was not a very viable option in my opinion. Fire rate is waaaay too low. Feels slower than SMR from BO2.
That BRM LMG from range feels good though. Silencer seemed to make it a 4hk machine though.

Unlike previous games though you can queue shots like you can with destiny's semis. Fire then hold fire until your gun shoots the 2nd round, then release and hold again. At least with this you can guarantee max RPM without having to guess firerate perfectly

Shieva RPM is super slow, but with High Caliber it kills in one headshot. Aside from those lucky headshots, it's completely incompetent up close, so pair with a pistol or Haymaker.

So here's what I found, hope it helps some of the Xbros out:
SMGs: Razorback for the low recoil AR replacement, Vesper is like BO2 skorpion with less recoil (great with Exmags+dual mags), VMP is all around champ, felt like the MSMC/pre-nerf PDW.
ARs: M8 is king, Shieva fires too slow but can OHK, XR-2 pointless, didn't play much with the full autos.
Shotties: KRM too inconsistent to be taken seriously, Haymaker has tremendous range but literally can't OHK.
LMGs: BRM was solid, didn't test the other.
Snipers: Didn't touch.
Pistols: All seemed to get the job done pretty well.
Launchers: XM-53 extremely hard to get enemy kills with, seemed to have a small blast radius. Switch to Blackcell if you're going to use a launcher.
Lethals: Semtex have too small a range to use effectively (following stun with Semtex didn't work well), Frags wreck, C4 blast radius reduced (but people were telling me there's a proximity alert, didn't check for myself), didn't understand Thermite (why would I want something that isn't lethal?), didn't test Trip Mine but they were very visible, Combat Axe you know about. Be warned that the Frag timer seemed to be a second less than in previous games, and your character throws grenades about as far as one might if they didn't realize they were explosive.
Tacticals: Stuck to Stuns and Black Hat. Black Hat is way too powerful.
Perk tier 1: Overclock is what I used primarily. It really accelerates the Specialist recharge rate.
Perk tier 2: Ante up is garbage (50 points? For real?). Fast Hands and Scavenger FTW.
Perk tier 3: Awareness/DS. Maybe use Tac Mask for Dom.
Specialists: Vision Pulse is garbage. It gives you one pulse, and lets enemies know you used it. Call in War Machine when UAV is up and just spam the trigger. Annihilator is great for when you want to run Shotty without a backup plan for range. Rejack (self res) saves your killstreak, when you have high streaks equipped and are playing against scrubs, it's the best; doesn't work well against competent enemies.
Scorestreaks: Incredibly disappointing. Second COD in a row without a single new idea for killstreaks. The utility of UAV and CUAV is completely dependent on whether or not someone on the opposing team is using Black Hat. UAV duration is noticeably shorter than previous games. Saw the top 3 streaks (Power Core, GI Unit, Mothership) maybe 3 times in total. I don't even understand what they're going for with Power Core, didn't see it used once, if you can get 1300 score for an EMP you don't need an EMP. I ended using Wraith/HATR/RAPS. Wraith is autonomous attack helicopter, HATR is Blackbird, RAPS is big explosive balls dropped from a ship that roll around seeking out enemies (functionally equivalent to Dogs).
As 3055 mentioned, Stock has no effect when you are firing, which is absolutely brutal. You stop dead in your tracks with an LMG.
