I think they've done a fine job with the weapons thus far... Most guns feel relatively balanced. R3K, NV4, Volk, and KBAR are all viable currently. If anything, I think the SMG's need a little buff.
If only I had an app with the stats on it that could show me if my theories are correct. Curse me for purchasing a superior cellular telephone.

I think as of right now they've done good with weapon Balance. But if they start nerfing everything into the ground that would suck.

Patch stat changes please. The most recent stats I have are from 12/6. Those are currently in the app. It looks like there was another update on 12/9. Will get those in within the next day. Just wanted to update and confirm this was done. Stats now reflect the most recent patch (12/9) Change Summary: Mauler - Mammoth - Recoil increase R.A.W. - Increased hip spread. Slight recoil increase. Fists - No longer force a quick swap when in the secondary slot. This allows YY'ing to feel smoother. DMR-1 - Now a 1 shot kill to the head EBR-800 - Increased ADS recoil return speed to help with shot recovery Akimbo - Slight reduction in damage range. Increase in hip spread scale Kendall 44 - Increased hip spread Hornet - Increased hip spread Assault Rifles - Increased base hip spread for all ARs without special hip spread values. This includes the NV4, OSA, Type-2. OSA - No longer has reduced hip spread relative to other Assault Rifles. Inherits the new values set on Assault Rifles in this patch. Increased recoil to compensate for high fire rate being used at range. Kbar-32 - Increased hip spread values. These are still lower than the base Assault Rifle hip spread keeping with the weapon's theme. No longer has a reduction in recoil off the first shot. Reduced 5 shot kill range. Volk- Slight reduction in recoil. Increased 3 shot range. R3K- Increased 3 shot kill range to help this weapon compete with other ARs

What is the status of the Android version? I don't see it in the Play Store. Android Update: I really appreciate everyone's patience and the level of anticipation for the Android release. I'm making good progress, and wanted to share some screenshots from the latest round of QA testing. As you can see in the screenshots, things are getting close, but there are enough bugs still that a bit more work is needed. Also just as an FYI, Android as a platform simply takes much longer to design for. The UI has to scale to a wide variety of different screen sizes and will frequently look great on one device, but not another. Plus Android tends to have inconsistent performance - what this means is sometimes things work on one device, but not on another. In the case of the screenshots I added, Android will load twitter pages in the app just fine, but says it can't find YouTube. Additionally, there are extra security concerns on Android that I need to account for, because the platform itself is somewhat less secure. Overall, my main goal is to release something that you guys will be happy with. I don't want the first impression to be one of frustration with things that mostly work, but not always. The Ultimate Utility for MWR has been submitted to Google Play. UU for IW, BF1, and Overwatch will be up shortly as well.
I've tested all apps on a variety of devices and simulators and am happy with the current performance, but there is still some room for improvement. I am sure that once it is in "the wild" new issues are likely to appear. I did cut some features from the iOS version (maps, compare guns) until they can be polished a bit more. There are still a number of things which I will continue to work on and improve, so if you find any issues, please PM me your device details and steps to replicate the issue.

We need more variant stats
More stats for guns like burst delays
Still need stats for the alternate modes
The graphs need a 10000% overhaul. Forget doing things like going up 5 in damage and moving up 10 meters every time for your scale. That's pointless and for most guns we will never know the true number. Mark the axises by each gun's individual damage number, distance unit change, ttk, etc!!
The weapon comparison needs to be able to overlay graphs on each other asap
Add variants to the graphs eventually

I usually have a pretty good idea whats going on but this year i didnt get it right away. Dont know whether its a shit storm or zen in terms of balance.

I'd say the top-tier guns are NV4/KBAR/RAW and maybe OSA too if you're an aggressive player with the gunskill for it. There's a lot of complaining about the NV4 because it's overused, but I can't get worked up complaining about what's essentially the ICR. Variants are pretty balanced, and the game is balanced in that there's no OP weapons, but boy, there are a lot of pointless weapons in this game.

Once the SMGs get a longer aim assist range, the ERAD Ascendant + the range attachment and the HVR will be in the KBAR tier as well. The Ripper variant in AR mode should be sick because it still has the smg strafing speed, sprint out, etc. It has AR aim assist iirc, check thexclusiveace's video

I don't have the gun so I can't check myself. If I got confirmation that the variant applies to AR mode I'd probably pick it up. I really only use RPR EVO it in AR mode as it is.
